What is this physiological interventions you keep mentioning??? This term has been used for the first time by you only?? Plz throw some light dr_hbs on this....

For answer for the health of an organism, environments in which the organism evolves & the interaction needs to be emphasised....hence, alwz best to look into Evolutionary physiology, comparative physiology and integrative physiology...and the underlying biochemistry..for evolution never lies or fails.....hence the interventions based on these principles r the physiological interventions... which traditionally alwz been refered to as non-pharmacolgical, as pharmacology was and is so dominant in medicine that whatever else becomes "non pharmacological".....

Clinical physiological interventions include all those interventions (diet/nutrition which includes various supplements, exercise/physical activity, sleep, stress coping/resilience etc... all those without drug-based interventions or surgeries) for health, fitness and human performance.... One may refer them as : Clinical Physiological Interventions (CPI) or Interventional Clinical Physiology (ICP) or Clinical & Interventional Physiology (C&IP).. It was always there in the medical curriculum, just that we never gave attention to it as our focus was always on drugs and drugs..(although they r also essential, but medicine is more than only drugs!!)…... With the various non communicable diseases, now that some health professionals are realizing the importance of this much neglected field (which has no funding or encouragement or promotion from big health care profit companies for obvious reasons)..although some have started calling it by various names like exercise medicine, movement medicine, lifestyle medicine, functional medicine, mind-body medicine etc which depict various aspects of CPI or ICP or C&IP.. dr_hbs

Journal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research aims to publish findings of doctors at grass root level and post graduate students, so that all unique medical experiences are recorded in literature.
