लाइकेन प्लेनस होने पर रोगी की त्वचा और जननांगों पर हल्के से उभार के साथ बैंगनी रंग के निशान पड़ जाते हैं। लाइकेन प्लेनस के अन्य लक्षणों में व्यक्ति के शरीर में कुछ ही महीनों या सप्ताह में घाव उभरना, रैश की जगह पर खुचली होना, मुंह में सफेद चिपचिपे द्रव युक्त घाव या फफोले होना आदि शामिल हैं।

लाइकेन प्लेनस क्यों होता है?

जब व्यक्ति की प्रतिरक्षा प्रणाली गलती से उसकी त्वचा की कोशिकाओं और श्लेषमा झिल्ली को नुकसान पहुंचाने लगती है, तो इस स्थिति को लाइकेन प्लेनस कहा जाता है। यह प्रतिरक्षा प्रणाली द्वारा उत्पन्न स्किन रैशेज की समस्या होती है। प्रतिरक्षा प्रणाली के द्वारा इस स्थिति को उत्पन्न करने के कारणों का पता नहीं लगाया जा सका है। साथ ही यह स्थिति संक्रामक नहीं होती है।

लाइकेन प्लेनस​​ का इलाज कैसे होता है?

लाइकेन प्लेनस के हल्के प्रभाव कुछ सप्ताह और महीनों में बिना इलाज के ही ठीक हो जाते हैं। अगर इसके लक्षण गंभीर हों तो ऐसे में डॉक्टर से सलाह लेनी चाहिए।
