DarkLøtus created yoga classes, yoga walks & yoga tours to guide you through the deep interiors of the city, along the spidery alleyways, into hidden temples and hopefully beyond into the Self. It’s more than just a yoga class, it’s a sacred journey into the tradition, history and experience of yoga in Banaras. . . or even throughout India to Rishikesh or Mysore on a yoga tour! So whether its just one class or a multi-day experience we will assist you to create the perfect journey for you or your group. Daily Yoga classes at sunrise & sunset. Intensive Hatha & Ashtanga yoga experiences in hidden sacred spaces with qualified teachers. Specialised historical, cultural, philosophical & ritual experience oriented yoga walks.

Meditation time in the park.
Yoga class in the park happens by appointment. The class lasts 1.5hr and cost vary depending on number of participants as mentionned on the website (link in bio). We like to come here in the morning or late afternoon and we sometimes meet other practicionners. This morning we had the chance to practice with a live bansuri !

Where is DarkLøtus Yoga studio located ? We practice in open places in different areas ! Temples, parks, historical grounds, on the ghats, in places connected to Yoga history and legends... a great way to discover the holy city of Banaras and merge into the life and rythm of Varanasi considered as a Temple itself !
