We've had some days ♥️
It's been an absolute treat sharing beloved Kathmandu with my dear friend. From chatting with the resident Sadhus at Pashupatinath, who just returned from the Kumbh Mela, to pilgrimaging to the Dakshinakali temple and Pharping monastery, it's been some wonderful days of rejuvenation and sharing my love and respect for this beautiful culture. Heading home to Varanasi today with a full heart, ready to guide the next two pilgrimages!

In Varanasi people say you will be called to different temples at a time when your soul is ready to honour and receive the deity, and this is exactly what I experienced last year when I was called to Gauri Kedareshwar Temple. I felt I'd been called back to a spiritual home, where the power of devotion and warmth of the fellow devotees welcomed me with a warm embrace. My son Varun started to play the Dumroo for Arati in the temple, and my heart wanted to be there every day. We visit the temple as often as we can.

After so many years of living in Kashi, all of the many changes, I can say the fire of the Shiva Tattva is alive here in Gauri Kedareshwar like nowhere else!

I want to thank my Guru Mahantji, and my brothers Gaurav and Lalli, who are Pandits in the temple for allowing me to share the magic with my friends and visitors. Everyone who has joined has been deeply moved by the experience, of sharing in the devotion, especially the power of Shiva and Shakti being honoured equally here.

"In the silence of the Kumbh, find the voice of your soul"🐚

Call of The Inner Mystic travelled to the Triveni Sangam of Prayagraj yesterday, to experience the Maha Kumbh Mela.

We had put a lot of energy into plotting the safest and best way to make this pilgrimage as a group of 20, and it worked out beautifully for us to pull into the parking area quite easily and begin the walk to the Sangam with thousands of fellow pilgrims. We were the only westerners I saw the whole day.

Boats were not running due to the PM's visit, so we walked intentionally and carefully with the sea of humanity to the Sangham, where hundreds of thousands of people were bathing. As the crowd became increasingly dense I felt a silent hum in my body, and the intentions of fellow pilgrims to respectfully approach the Sangham area. It truly telt like a divine energy pulsing and supporting everyon who came to the shore of the confluence of the Mama rivers.

We got to about 20 meters from the bank, and it became so dense I got the clear message to turn around, and we made our way to a calmer and more spacious bathing spot. Truly a blessed experience to share with these lovely folks, and my dearest friends.🤍

The other day I had the opportunity to finally meet Swami Premajyoti who I had been connected to via social media for many years now! It was such an honour to get to share our devotion and research on the 64 Yoginis, Dasa Mahavidyas, and our love of Kashi, and other Devi Tirthas and Shakti Peetams.

It was then even more wonderful to finally meet Swami Ayappa of and get to share a pilgrimage to one of my favourite Devi temples here in the arms of Kashi. Swami Ayappa's many years of practice, research, writing, and teaching have produced some of the most dynamic literature in the practice and study of Kaula Ta**ra, and the mysterious Chausati Yoginis.

For my fellow teachers & students, I highly recommend deepening your practice by exploring their writings & offerings.

Thank you Pandit Sadaphal Pandey for allowing me the space to share with these very special friends & devotees of Ma.
