What exactly is Scoliosis?

Scoliosis is a sideways curvature of the spine that most often is diagnosed in adolescents. While scoliosis can occur in people with conditions such as cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy, the cause of most childhood scoliosis is unknown.

Most cases of scoliosis are mild, but some curves worsen as children grow. Severe scoliosis can be disabling.

New research from our team about the current updates in spine surgery

Future of spine surgery in India and throughout the world will be greatly affected by the economic impact on healthcare. Considering the socio-economic scenario and demographics of our country a large population will have to be provided care at reduced costs greatly affecting the innovation in our

Degenerative cervical myelopathy occurs when age-related osteoarthritic changes cause narrowing of the cervical spinal canal, leading to chronic spinal cord compression and resultant neurologic disability. A 2017 study has estimated the prevalence of DCM to be 1120 per 1 million people in Canada, with an incidence of hospitalizations at 4 per 100 000 person-years.
