I chose to become a Homoeopath not because I didn't get through MBBS but because I wanted to be one..
I had few relatives who were practicing Homoeopathy and I remember going on vacations to my native and meeting them, seeing them practice homoeopathy, sometimes playing with the medicine bottles, and also witnessing that the treatment they provided to the villagers was hugely effective and thus it gained them huge respect from the villagers. That definitely influenced me.
When it was time to choose a career I knew I wanted to do something with human life, help the suffering mankind and be a student all my life; as it's never enough learning.
As I was researching what to persue for graduation, I found that Homoeopathy was based on scientific principles, study of natural medicines, and psychology. Studying Ayurveda would be difficult for me that time as I was never in touch with Sanskrit.
MBBS/Dental were never in my option. I clearly knew what I did not want to do. While there were bunch of people telling me how Homoeopathy has no scope as a career.. 😑
While studying Homoeopathy subjects, the subject of Philosophy caught my interest the most. Others found it boring, felt sleepy and just bypassed the subject. 😄
Soon I realised understanding the principles and techniques of Homoeopathy cannot be achieved without depth of spiritual knowledge. The concepts of energy, vitality, susceptibility, constitution of body, fouls of mind, universal logic theories, how body acts when diseased, how it acts when right medicine is administered were not easy to understand for all.
That is the time I started having a spiritual bent and started reading The Bhagwad Geeta. I came across the concepts of basic body makeup, how our mind is a place of foul play, and why we suffer so much in this life time. Also I have regularly practiced yoga; initially only to be flexible and help me be a graceful dancer, but later to achieve stability of mind, develop listening skills, enhance intuitive power, and then to keep myself detached from distractions.
Working under world renowned and skilled Homoeopaths has shaped a lot of my way of treating, handling patients, handling clinic and ofcourse my personality and character. My obeisances to all my masters, mentors in Homoeopathy. 🙏🏻😌
Later practicing Homoeopathy in a city I realised it was not the same as practicing in a village. 😅
Villagers took medicines and followed doctor's instructions without putting in much thought, without questioning and keeping their full faith in the doctor. The city learned humans were fearful, doubtful and anxious about the treatment and medicine.
Convincing them to choose holistic approach to treat their diseases was a great task. Explaining them about diseases and body reactions was time consuming. Selling them Homoeopathy philosophy of cure and action of medicine was so tiring in an allopathy dominated health industry.
But I again realised this is what the mass needs! Someone to educate them. Someone to tell them what is happening to them, what you can do to help yourself, and showing them a complete diffrent perspective of disease and health. So I further took knowledge of Ayurvedic concepts of disease, health, diet, yoga and lifestyle. 15 yrs + and Homoeopathy medicine effects still amuses me and still keeps me grounded to being a student of Homoeopathy, Philosophy, and Life...
The uniqueness of Homoeopathy medicine and pharmacy, the spiritual maturity, and knowledge of Ayurvedic concepts is what helps me immensely in practice to heal patients with a holistic approach and I do take time to explain to my patients about their disease nature, type of body and what changes they should get in their lifestyle through diet, yoga and self realisation methods.
AnandamaYos Homoeopathy and Wellness Clinic is all about giving patients blissful experience while achieving complete health through all of the above.
The reason I conduct so many Homoeopathy medical camps small or big is to tell people - AnandamaYos Homoeopathy and Wellness Clinic and team is there to help you treat any of your health problems which you thought had no cure, achieve your health goals, avoid painful unnecessary procedures, and most importantly to encourage you to understand yourself.
I will continue working and contributing to the field of Homoeopathy and to the society to bring positive changes in anyone's life I come across. 🙏🏻😊
This evening was so encouraging, empowering and inspiring...
