Today, most of the world is dominated by technology and concrete jungles. One timeless practice that still connects us with nature is gardening. Gardening isn't just about planting seeds – it's a lifestyle that nurtures our physical and mental well-being in countless ways.

Reconnecting with Mother Nature:

Gardening helps us reconnect with nature. Grounding transmits the healing energy of earth into your body. Feel the soil between your fingers, bask in the sun's warmth, and let the soothing sounds of nature ground you in peace and connection.

Stress Reduction and Mental Health:

Engaging in gardening activities has been linked to decreased levels of stress, anxiety, and depression. Planting, weeding, and harvesting promote mindfulness, awareness, grounding individuals in the present moment and alleviating the pressures of everyday life.

Physical Health and Exercise:

Who needs a gym when you've got a garden? Digging, planting, and pruning involve various muscle groups, promoting strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular health.
Furthermore, spending time outdoors exposes individuals to fresh air and sunlight, facilitating the production of vitamin D and enhancing overall vitality.

Nutritional Abundance:
Cultivating a garden offers access to fresh, nutrient-rich produce, free from pesticides and chemicals. Incorporating homegrown fruits, vegetables, and herbs into one's diet not only promotes optimal nutrition but also creates a deeper sense of appreciation for the food we consume.

Get your hands dirty and watch as your well-being blooms along with your garden!

Vampire Number 6: Retention of Digestive Waste

If you are not eliminating more than what you are eating in a day, stay assured that you are getting Constipated, not just at the intestinal level but on the cellular level.

After every meal, the body undergoes the breakdown of food and assimilates essential nutrients over a specific period.

After assimilation, any remaining matter, no longer required by the body, is directed towards the exit for elimination. Throughout this process, the environment and circumstances play a vital role. If conditions are favourable, the process smoothly reaches completion. However, this is often not the case, we do not allow our bodies enough time to complete the process before consuming something new.

As the process remains incomplete, waste matter continues to linger and rot within the body.

Antahasatva - it has been such a life-transforming space for me that I don’t even know where to start writing a review. One and a half years back I was exhausted by the ill effects of living a busy city lifestyle and the cosmetic treatments of allopathy and a gradual decline in the health of my family, with multiple health conditions in the family like Diabetes, Thyroid, Asthma, and Allergies. I started looking for more holistic solutions to improve our health, specifically for me and my 9-year-old daughter. And in this process, was looking for a residential Nature Cure Centre. After a lot of research, got to know about Swati Dhariwal and her home cm Nature Cure Centre ‘Antahasatva’ in Arcot, near Vellore in TN from a bunch of highly respected Nature Cure practitioners and she was very highly recommended. This is the place where many experienced Nature Cure practitioners go to learn or go for their treatment when they need help.

After a brief call with Swati, I decided to stay for 2 weeks at ‘Antahasatva’ along with my daughter. It was one of the best decisions I have taken for my family’s health. The location itself is not very confidence-inspiring. But once inside, I found it beautiful, hygienic, comfortable, and with lots of greenery. There is a beautiful small garden in the front and a large one at the back with lots of fruit trees like Mangoes, coconut, Chikoo, Pomegranate, Custard Apple, etc. There is a big vegetable garden as well. We used to spend a large part of our stay here amidst nature. We learned and tasted lots of yummy salads and refreshing juice recipes. And there is always availability of fresh fruits to binge on. Here we also experienced many very invigorating therapies like Massage, Steam bath, Hip bath, Spine Bath, Sun bath, and Mud bath. Every Sunday, there is a hiking trip in nature at nearby peaks and hills, which were all very memorable trips. Various Games and Karaoke nights with other guests and family members were a lot of fun too. And a huge collection of books ensures that there is not a moment of boredom.

But it is Swati, who is the soul and essence of this place. She is a qualified Nature Cure Practitioner with over 25 years of experience. During my stay, I first hand saw Swati manage serious medical emergencies at home and also recover a few extremely complicated medical cases where even doctors had no cure.

Swati is not only an expert on Nature Cure, but she also has deep knowledge & understanding of Yoga, human psychology as well as various spiritual teachings. She is a Naturopath, Yoga teacher, Psychologist, and spiritual Guru all rolled into one. That’s what makes her an excellent healer, as holistic healing has to happen at all three levels - Body, Mind, and spirit. The learning and personalized attention you get from Swati is a huge bonus for staying here.

She has excellent support from her entire family including her husband, who himself is a wonderful Yoga teacher; her son, and daughter-in-law, all of whom live a life aligned with the principles of Nature Cure. This makes the entire experience of staying here unique and pleasant.

Healing is a long-term journey and in that, Swati’s handholding program after the stay is also highly recommended. It helps practice what you learn at her center in your day-to-day life and ensures that you don’t fall off the cliff once you are back to your routine life

We experienced tremendous improvement in our overall health and came back for a stay multiple times. Many of my friends and family have stayed here or consulted Swati or attended one of her online programs on my recommendation and each one of them experienced the same.

If you are looking for holistic healing then would definitely recommend visiting ‘Antahasatva’ or consulting Swati.

*Vitality Vampire 5: Lack Of Rest*

Delving into the fifth energy vampire, we look at the impact of insufficient rest on your overall vitality.

if you are not sleeping enough at night, it often brings a noticeable drain on your energy levels, leaving you waking up fatigued and end up feeling consistently tired. Prioritizing rest is fundamental—listen to your body's signals and make sure that when fatigue sets in, you always take the opportunity to relax.

Stress, often stemming from matters beyond our control, can be a significant energy vampire. Learning to be relaxed and not give in to unnecessary stressors contributes to the overall energy levels. It's essential to recognize and address stressors that are within your control while letting go of those beyond it.

Avoiding food consumption during moments of extreme tiredness, lack of hunger, or illness is another key aspect. Allowing your body to rest, especially when it signals fatigue and illness, helps in conserving energy levels.

By embracing a lifestyle that recognizes and responds to the body's need for rest, you pave the way for sustained vitality. It involves not just the quantity but the quality of rest—allowing your body to recover and rejuvenate fully.

Atul had approached us for online handholding and support to improve his energy levels and low vitamin B12 and D3 levels. As a vegan, he believed that supplements were necessary for improving the deficiency. However, after three months of lifestyle and food habit changes the readings were back to normal with increased energy levels. Being vigorously active in his work, this journey helped him to channel his energy to another level.

Vampire number 4: Disconnect from Nature

One significant but often overlooked energy vampire is the disconnection from nature's vital forces—the Pancha Maha Bhootas. When we deprive ourselves of direct contact with the essential elements of life—earth, water, sun, air, and space—it forces the body to rely solely on its internal energy for all functions. This constant internal drain can leave us feeling depleted and fatigued.

Insufficient exposure to healthy, non-sunscreen-filtered sunlight, lack of time spent outdoors, breathing in fresh air, and not drinking enough fresh, sun-irradiated water drains your body’s vitality. Additionally, the absence of direct contact with the Earth denies our cells the calming effects of the Earth's magnetic energy. The lack of exposure to direct cosmic rays further contributes to the depletion of our vitality.
