Good evening friends.
Here is a gentle man with history of eating chicken rice 4 days back .Came with throat pain and difficulty in swallowing.We took an X-RAY and found out a chicken bone stuck in this throat .We managed to remove it with an Endoscope under anaesthesia.The bone was quite sharp and it had pierced the wall of the food pipe.
A word of caution ,Please concentrate on food while you eat especially non-veg,chew nicely and swallow .

Thank GOD for giving you food because so many people don ‘t get even one meal a day .

If you suspect any food stuck in your food pipe do visit near by doctor .

This patient came today c/0 insect 🕷️ in the ears
Normal examination,Could nt identify
With the pocket endoscopy could see the spider camouflaged with the tympanic membrane.
Just gave a drop of local anaesthetic
The spider ran out of the ear
So removed it live.

8 years old boy accidentally swallowed 2 rs coin today 28 Th afternoon.It was stuck deeply in the food pipe.Poor kid could nt swallow even his saliva.Took him to theatre and got the coin out.He belongs to a poor socio economic status.
Parents please do have a watch the kids when they play with coins or sharp object.

Sameera female girl ,from a poor socio economic status came to us c nasal bleeding since 1 month.Very unusual with an endoscope could see a foreign body in the nose.On questioning yes she had complained of putting a thread in the nose which was neglected.But couldn’t remove in OPD as it was bleeding
Not affordable also ,But took her to OT and removed under GA.We could see a coiled thread c infection.
Had waved her off theatre charges .
So happy was the mom and child.
Please parents have an eye on kids who play .They can accidentally put anything into their ear ,nose ,throat

I was about to leave my OPD when came a rushing parent with a kid in her hand who had accidentally swallowed a coin yesterday afternoon.5 rs coin stuck deep into her throat.Child not able to swallow even her saliva.We had rush her into the theatre to remove the coin with endoscope.By Guru and God s blessings was able to save the child from his distress.Take home message PARENTS DO HAVE EYE ON YOUR CHILDREN WHEN THEY ARE PLAYING WITH COINS and toys.

Dear friends ,had a patient from Vaniyambadi who had eaten chicken rice yesterday night.She was watching TV while eating.A large chunk of chicken piece had stuck in her throat.Poor female was not able to swallow even her saliva since night and was wincing with pain.Had to take her to Operation theatre and removed it with endoscope.With Guru and God s blessing she went home thankfully.
Moral -PLEASE EAT SLOWLY AND AVOID TALKING ,SEEING MOBILE. Food is our energy .Eat thankfully also🙏🙏🙏🙏
