Today I received a message to post regarding a temporary shop outside the garden. A poor man's temporary stall (a small roadside setup) was demolished. The reason given? That he didn’t have permission. But if that’s true, then who grants permission there? Last year, a pakora vendor was allowed at the very same spot. What changed this time?

So much injustice is happening — a poor man had set up a small shed shop outside Verinag Garden just for the season, where he used to sell cold drinks, snacks, etc. But his only source of livelihood was destroyed. : Mother, Her Infant Killed After LPG Gas Leakage In Jammu and Kashmir

In a tragedic incident, mother and her six month old child was killed in a LPG gas leakage incident in Jandrola area of Mandi in Poonch district on Tuesday.

Officials told GNS that due to LPG gas leakage, a house caught fire which resulted in killing of a mother and her six month old baby.

Soon a team of police reached to the spot and took the shifted the deceased to the hospital for medico-legal formalities.

The deceased has been identified as Shazia Kousar(Mother).

Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up.
