Stillness Over Storm đđ
Some days it feels like youâre carrying the storm alone.
Sleepless nights, mood swings, brain fog, and the world expects you to just manage.
Itâs easy to push it aside, Google symptoms, and assure yourself, âItâs just hormones, itâll passâ.
Or to think, âMaybe other women handle this betterâ.
But the truth is, every woman experiences this differently, and ignoring it only makes the storm louder.
Research shows:
Perimenopause brings ~40% higher odds of depressive symptoms than before menopause.
About 1 in 3 women struggle with anxiety that affects daily life.
Mindfulness practices measurably improve stress, sleep, and emotional resilience.
I know this because Iâve been there. Those endless days of low moods, anxiety, and panic attacks.
I became a Certified Mindfulness Coach to heal myself, and now, guiding women through this transition is my purpose.
Mindfulness isnât a quick fix. Itâs learning to calm the storm from the inside, gently retraining your nervous system, easing cortisol, and rebuilding strength.
Thus, like in this image from a recent workshop, I make mindfulness the foundation of all my programs, as this is healing at a cellular level.
To families, teams, and communities:
Supporting women through this isnât âextra.â Itâs essential.
Offer space to rest.
Ask, âHow can I help?â instead of âPush through.â
Encourage mindful pauses and small daily practices.
When women are supported, everyone benefits: calmer homes, focused teams, and resilient communities.
Stillness isnât passivity.
Itâs a quiet act of courage, a choice to face the storm with care and a strong foundation for vitality that lasts.
⨠Pause. Breathe. Rise. â¨
