This 33 week baby arrived on day 10 from hospital X. He had blood infection (E.Coli sepsis), low platelet counts, apneas and cholestasis at arrival. Good NICU and supportive care lead to a smooth recovery.

This baby was a preterm triplet and unfortunately lost the other two siblings within the first week at an outside hospital. She came to us on day 8 in a very serious condition. She had sclerema (severe form of infection), low BP, myocardial dysfunction (heart unable to pump blood), bleeding, low platelet count, feed intolerance (unable to digest milk).

With the efforts of our NICU team, we could discharge the baby safely with no major morbidity.
