The most satisfying one…!!

The story of a man who didn’t give up at all..the fight is on for almost 40days..team work is the key to success..!!

A patient of 50yrs age presented with liver failure, continuous fluid accumulation in his stomach with very low platelets and low haemoglobin came to us in a very bad condition..successfully completed the TIPS procedure and major skin grafting…the patient got discharged after 40 days and he is now able to do things on his own..!!

In the span of 48 hrs, 4 emergencies and 4 lifes saved..that’s IR for u..initially when i joined IR, people raised questions on my choice, but this is the beauty of this branch…!

IR: INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY

Case 1:- Patient with portal hypertension and uncontrolled variceal bleed 🩸 underwent emergency TIPS procedure.

Case 2:- Patient presented with lower GI BLEED, after every other measure turns out to be negative took for check angiogram and proceeded for successful embolisation of pseudoaneurysm 💣

Case 3:- Old lady rushed to emergency with significant haemoptysis 😷 underwent successful bronchial artery embolisation.

Case 4:- 70 yrs old man who is having large pus cavity in liver underwent pigtail Catheterisation, later presented with vitals drop diagnosed with large pseudoaneurysm 💣 underwent successful embolisation.
