🧬 A patient with acute pancreatitis presented with:
– Melena
– Sudden drop in hemoglobin

🖼 CT Angiography revealed:
✅ A pseudoaneurysm from a branch of the superior mesenteric artery (SMA)
➡️ A rare but life-threatening complication of pancreatitis

💡 Superselective embolisation attempted through Microcatheter navigation into the affected SMA branch but unable to do so..!!
Therefore performed PERCUTANEOUS EMBOLISATION USING GLUE..!

Post procedure :-

✅ Bleeding controlled
✅ Hemodynamics stabilized
✅ Recovered well

The story of a man who didn’t give up at all..the fight is on for almost 40days..team work is the key to success..!!

A patient of 50yrs age presented with liver failure, continuous fluid accumulation in his stomach with very low platelets and low haemoglobin came to us in a very bad condition..successfully completed the TIPS procedure and major skin grafting…the patient got discharged after 40 days and he is now able to do things on his own..!!
