Gland excision in gynecomastia surgery involves removing the excess glandular tissue from the male breast. This tissue is responsible for the swollen appearance of the breasts in men with gynecomastia. During the procedure, a surgeon makes an incision near the ni**le, accesses the glandular tissue, and carefully removes it.
