Many people stop their medication the moment their BP readings appear normal, assuming the tablets are no longer necessary. But most of the time, your BP is normal because you are taking the tablets consistently.

To make this easy to understand, the doctor gives a simple example:
If your child is performing well in school, does that mean he should stop going? No. He needs to continue attending classes to maintain that performance.
