CAN PSORIASIS PATIENTS HAVE NON - VEG ?
*psoriasis diet is rich in anti-inflammatory foods, whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins.
*It also limits processed foods, refined sugars, saturated fat, trans fat, cholesterol, and salt.
FOODS TO INCLUDE:
Eat lean protein sources like skinless chicken and cut back on red meats and full-fat dairy
FISH :
Lean fish like salmon, tuna, sardines, and mackerel.
PLANTS :
Tofu, tempeh, beans, peas, lentils, and egg whites.
FRUIT AND VEGETABLES :
Leafy greens, berries, sweet potatoes, carrots, and citrus fruits
WHOLE GRAINS :
Gluten-free whole flour, and Whole millets.
NUTS AND SEEDS :
Flaxseeds, walnuts, and chia seeds
SPICES :
Turmeric and ginger.
HERBS :
Indian gooseberry, nutmeg, neem, saffron, and *Triphala(Amala,Bibhitaki,Haritaki)avoid if you are pregnant and blood thinner patients.
**Other tips Stay hydrated with plenty of water, Avoid refined sugars and processed foods, Limit cholesterol and salt (sodium), and Avoid alcohol**
