Muscle cramps often hit your legs, thighs, or feet — usually during sleep or after activity. These are called episodic pains and can be quite uncomfortable.
Common Causes Include:
Dehydration – Not drinking enough water
Vitamin Deficiencies – Especially D & B12
Nerve Changes – Common in diabetics
Hormonal Imbalances – Seen in thyroid issues or pregnancy
Medications – Like diuretics (for BP) & statins (for cholesterol)
Electrolyte Imbalances – Low sodium, potassium, calcium, or magnesium
Stay hydrated, eat well, and stretch regularly.
