Hello everybody good morning, so let's continue, for the tooth decay or Dental Caries as we call it to initiate 3 things are important let's call them Factors. 1st the substance the natural tooth is made up of(obviously is there in mouth ), 2nd the microbes /bacterium (also present in mouth ), these two in themselves can't start the caries process unless the 3rd Factor of the TRIAD is available and that is SUGAR or Carbohydrates as we call it (not necessarily sweet in taste but chemically classified as carbohydrates ), the bacterial fermentation of carbohydrates produces acids which dissolves the mineralized component of a tooth, thus a point of ingress for other microorganisms to enter into the structure of teeth and break it down. It start the Caries process which is reversible in its incipient stage, but turns irreversible beyond that unless treated, since its painless to begin with, it goes un- noticed till a substantial involvement of th deeper structures leading its way to the Nerve or PULP AS we call it.
Teeth can be saved at various stages of the above explained process right from before the initial caries, by the use of Fluorides, pit&fissure sealants, to the various stages of fillings before it reaches the Nerve /pulp, to the Root Canal Treatment procedures including structural reinforcements with the use of a CROWN/CAP for functional restorations. Often we see conditions where the Tooth is brought to us in a state of total destruction and extraction is the only befitting treatment possible for such a condition .
Please Note-:THOUGH THEY ARE 32 IN NUMBERS EACH PLAYS A SIGNIFICANT ROLE IN ITSELF AND AS A WHOLE UNIT TO HELP MAINTAIN THE WONDER FUNCTION CALLED MASTICATION (CHEWING ).

Hello everybody, good morning, today we all are living a very hectic and stressful life, we sleep late, wake up early, we are as if programmed to move along with the clock can't afford to be delayed, in this mad rush I've often found the fact that they just end up brushing their teeth inadequately, insufficiently or the way they feel or adjudged was proper/acceptable to them. This is just the beginning, through the day they would have all kinds of food stuffs that's easily available as frequently as they need, thus the mouth is never free of accumulating food debris, this is the continuation, there's more processed food, sweets of different kinds and form, I must add absolutely irresistible one's available in plenty, the list is endless,
