The free polio surgical & Research Foundation, a registered charitable organization is rendering free services to the poor and needy disabled persons since its institution in the year 1994.The reason behind its genesis dates back to the year 1978, when the doyen of polio corrective surgery late Dr. C. Vyaghreswarudu started the movement of free polio corrective surgeries and surgical camps .His ardent discipline Dr.S.V. Adhinarayana Rao Associating himself with his guru in this yeomen service 1978, started continuing the work after the demise of his mentor. A full-fledged hospital for the medical, surgical & therapeutical management for the rehabilitation of the Polio afflicted has been the long cherished dream of Late Dr. Vyaghreswarudu. This is fulfilled by Dr. Adhinarayana Rao in June 1997 by starting the PREMA (Polio Research, Rehabilitation & Management) Hospital,which is managed by the Free Polio Surgical & Research Foundation. There are 26 innovative surgical procedures with which most of the deformities are corrected. Those persons who need Orthotic aids/appliances after surgical correction are also provided with custom made aids/appliance in our institution. Salient Features:
