World TB Day Awareness Program at UHTC - Peddawaltair

Interns at UHTC took the initiative to spread TB awareness through insightful poster presentations, engaging and educating the community.

Under the guidance of the Department of Community Medicine, GVP IHC & MT, an awareness program was conducted to highlight the importance of early detection and prevention of Tuberculosis.

Inauguration of Dental OP at UHTC – GVPIHC & MT

Expanding healthcare services for underprivileged communities, the Dental OP at UHTC (GVPIHC & MT) was inaugurated on 23rd February 2025 at 7:55 AM. Sponsored by Sowbhagya Nirmalam Foundation, this initiative aims to provide quality dental care to those in need.

The inauguration was graced by Prof. Somaraju Garu, Sri. Dakshina Murthy Garu, and Dean Dr. S***a Rao Garu. Also present were Dr. Satya Varaprasad Garu (Director), Dr. Kameswara Rao Garu, Dr. Murali Krishna (MG Cancer Hospital), and esteemed Rotarians.

Prof. Somaraju Garu emphasized the importance of delivering high-quality treatment to patients.

Glad to inform you all that ,
A case of 39yr old Nulliparous woman with multiple fibroids, MYOMECTOMY was performed on 07/09/2024 in department of OBG .5 large size fibroids of approx 4kg weight were removed successfully and uterus could be preserved for future child bearing .
