This new hospital is equipped with latest high end equipment and cutting edge technologies, dedicated and well trained human resources to provide satisfying healthcare experience. To achieve this objective, we have developed several Centres of Excellence in their respective specialties.
As our services in Cardiology and Nephrology have been rated the best in Visakhapatnam through the years; we intend to excel and carry forward the legacy with more commitment in other medical and surgical specialties too by providing a positive unique patient experience. Our Heart Institute is equipped with modern medical facilities like digital flat panel cath lab and modern operation theaters performing both invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures. The Institute of Nephrology and Urology treats a host of urological and neurological problems. It offers exclusive facilities for CAPD (Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis). We offer Urodynamic evaluation studies and Endoscopic Laser surgeries which are of world class standards in our new hospital to treat urinary obstruction. We are doing both Live and Cadaver Kidney Transplants and in the near future, we plan to carry out Liver Transplantation too.
We have developed state of the art Trauma Care Team in our new hospital with an excellent Emergency Medicine team providing efficient care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. These are backed by an advanced team of Neurosurgeons, Radiologists and Orthopedicians performing life saving surgeries. Our Critical Care infrastructure is on par with global standards with 75 bedded ICUs and manned by trained critical care team 24 x 7. Our Institute of Neurosciences is equipped with most modern EEG, EMG, NCS and MRI equipment. Stroke ICU is handled by most advanced stroke care team and Rehabilitation Unit is there to provide fast recovery to the patient. Spine surgeries such as corpectomy, anterior cervical microdicectomy, laminoplasty, spinal fixation for cervical, dorsal and lumar spines are done with success rate on par with the best in the world. Minimally invasive endoscopic disc surgeries are performed routinely. Our Institute of Orthopaedics is one of the best joint replacement centres offering Total Joint Replacements (both primary and revision) of hip, knee and shoulder. A fully equipped Physiotherapy Unit provides essential rehabilitative support. Our Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery Institute performs a host of cosmetic and corrective surgeries like improvement of facial contours, trauma reconstruction and micro-vascular surgeries.
The Gastroenterology Institute offers both medical and surgical treatment for variety of conditions ranging from simple appendicitis operation to complex Endoscopic Ultrasound guided procedures. We have started doing Liver Clinics in this institute and shortly we will open Bariatric Clinics too. Our Pulmonary Medicine Institute has advanced PFT Lab offering DLCO testing and video bronchoscopy. It runs a Respiratory Rehabilitation Unit in association with trained physiotherapists and respiratory technicians.
