20 Years of Excellence in Cancer Care!
On September 7, 2025, MGCHRI proudly marked this incredible milestone in the vibrant City of Destiny, Visakhapatnam. The grand celebration was graced by Hon’ble AP Health Minister Sri Satya Kumar Yadav Garu, Dr. Murali Krishna Voonna, Chief Surgical Oncologist & Managing Director, MGCHRI, and Dr. Manish Mattoo, Executive Director & CEO, HCG, along with the presence of 600+ esteemed doctors.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Murali Krishna Voonna shared,
“What began in 2005 as a modest six-bedded facility has grown into one of the largest and most trusted teaching cancer institutions in this part of the country.”
Reflecting on the journey, Dr. Manish Mattoo added,
“What started as a dream 20 years ago has come a long way. MGCHRI has provided hope and miraculous care to lakhs of patients, not only treating cancer but transforming lives and families. We have stayed ahead of the curve to bring the best, but what truly sets this hospital apart is not just technology adoption, but compassionate care.”
The evening featured a milestone video and a souvenir book launch, symbolizing our two decades of tireless service, innovation, and compassionate care.
