Spreading the awareness about the diabetes is needed .Prevention of diabetes along with early detection,treatment for optimal blood glucose control , prevention & early detection of complications is important.
Focus of diabetes treatment is changed now a days to heart,kidneys and metabolic care.It increases life expectancy of diabetes patients.Mental health is also necessary.Mere blood glucose control is not sufficient.

Studies reveal a significant correlation between pro-inflammatory diets comprising processed meats, refined carbohydrates, and sugary drinks and heightened glucose and insulin levels, thereby elevating pre-diabetes risk. Hence, adopting dietary changes aimed at reducing the dietary inflammatory index can aid in preventing dysglycemia.

Although albumin urine is the first sign of diabetic Nephropathy,the first symptom is usually feet swelling.Feet swelling occurs at a very late stage.
Regular systemic screening for diabetic kidney disease is needed in order to identify patients at risk of or with presymptomatic diabetic(DKD).
Annual monitoring of urinary albumin-to-creatinine ratio, estimated GFR(eGFR)and blood pressure is recommended.

- Start with lower intensity and gradually increase as you get more comfortable
- Incorporate a mix of cardio and strength training exercises for optimal weight loss
- Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity exercise per week
