Radhikabai Meghe Memorial College of Nursing (SRMMCON) was established in 2002-2003 with annual intake of 30 for Basic B.Sc. Nursing Course under the ambit of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. Nursing was started to provide the diploma nurses an opportunity to upgrade their education status. This was the first College in Vidarbha region to start Post Graduate Course in Nursing under the ambit of Maharashtra University of Health .

The Department of Mental Health Nursing, SRMMCON, in collaboration with the Department of Psychiatry, AVBRH; Florence Nightingale Training College of Nursing; and Shalinitai Meghe College of Nursing, Salod, Hirapur, successfully organized a week-long celebration of World Mental Health Week 2025.

🌿 Inaugural Function of World Mental Health Week Celebration – 7th October 2025
Theme: β€œAccess to Services – Mental Health in Catastrophe and Emergency”

The Department of Mental Health Nursing, Smt. Radhikabai Meghe Memorial College of Nursing, in collaboration with the Department of Psychiatry, AVBRH, Florence Nightingale Training College of Nursing, and Shalinitai Meghe College of Nursing, Salod (Hirapur), inaugurated the World Mental Health Week Celebration on 7th October 2025 at the reception area of AVBRH.

The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp and was anchored by Dr. Pulkit (Psychiatrist).
The occasion was graced by:
✨ Dr. Shourya Acharya, Professor & HOD of Medicine, AVBRH
✨ Dr. Ragini Patil, HOD of Psychiatry, AVBRH
