“She believed she could, so she did”, a popular quote is an inspiration for every women. For every dream to transform into reality, hard work is fundamental, but there are some other factors that comes into play. One such indispensable factor is ‘support’, support from family, friends and the society as a whole. ASAP’s ‘She- Skills 2019’ is a big opportunity for women above 15 years age to get skilled in areas of interest and to transform their forgotten dreams into reality. She-Skills targets to train over 9000 women, who completed Class X and aspire to upskill themselves. Through this initiative ASAP would offer 105-240 hrs of training on NSQF aligned skill courses from Retail, Banking, Apparel, Beauty and Wellness and Food Processing sectors.

She-Skills 2019 campaign was officially launched by the Hon’ble Minister for Higher Education, Govt. of Kerala. Dr. K T Jaleel on 24 July 2019 at Thiruvananthapuram by releasing its logo.
Dr. Veena N Madhavan, IAS, CEO, ASAP was present at the function held at PRD Chamber, Secretariat.

Training will start in August 2019 and will be offered through Training service Providers, selected by ASAP. ASAP’s in-house trainers will give soft skills/life skills training and exclusive career guidance on job opportunities for the She-Skills trainees. This is a great opportunity to develop and improve communication skills, leadership quality and organizational abilities.

Another highlight of the training programme is compulsory Internship after course completion to all those enrolled. The online application can be submitted free of cost.
