On 22 December 2025, students from our institution enthusiastically participated in the Swadeshi event at Sector 5, Panchkula, organized by the Swadeshi Jagran Manch. The program served as an inspiring platform to promote the spirit of Swadeshi, showcasing indigenous products, traditional knowledge, innovation, and India’s rich cultural heritage. Our students actively participated in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)–based competitions and brought pride to the institution by securing Second Position in Skit, Quiz, and Speech competitions, along with third position in the Model Exhibition. The experience beautifully blended learning with competition, strengthening scientific thinking, creativity, teamwork, and social responsibility while reinforcing the values of self-reliance and cultural pride.

We are delighted to share that our faculty members have brought remarkable recognition at the 55th Annual Conference of the Indian Pharmacological Society (IPSCON 2025), held at the University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Panjab University, Chandigarh, from 20th to 22nd November 2025.

🏆 Mr. Kuldeep Kumar has been awarded the prestigious “Saroj V. N. Sharma Prize” for his outstanding research titled: “Postconditioning of AM-1241 mitigates myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury via modulation of inflammatory, fibrosis, apoptotic and autophagy pathway in rats” published in the Journal European Journal of Pharmacology.

🏅 Mr. Shivam Verma has secured the First Prize in Quiz Competition, showcasing exceptional knowledge and academic excellence.

Today, Guru Gobind Singh College of Pharmacy proudly celebrated the 76th National Constitution Day with great enthusiasm and respect. The event began with the reading of the Preamble to the Constitution, reminding us of the core values that guide our nation, Justice, Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity.

Our respected Principal Sir addressed the gathering and beautifully highlighted the true meaning and spirit of the Preamble, inspiring everyone to uphold constitutional ideals in their personal and professional lives.

Faculty members and students actively participated, sharing their insightful views on the Constitution, its relevance, and the responsibilities it entrusts to every citizen.

The campus of Guru Gobind Singh College of Pharmacy was filled with unstoppable energy and team spirit as students came together to participate in an electrifying ‘Tug of War Championship’ organised on 21.11.2025 on the occasion of 64th National Pharmacy Week.

From powerful grips to roaring cheers, both boys’ and girls’ teams showcased exceptional strength, strategy, determination, and true sportsmanship. Every pull of the rope reflected teamwork, unity, and an unbreakable fighting spirit.
The atmosphere was filled with excitement as enthusiastic spectators rallied behind their favourite teams, making the event unforgettable. Heartiest congratulations to the winning teams! And a big applause to all the participants for their enthusiastic and fair play.

On 13th and 14th November 2025, the Sports Club of Guru Gobind Singh College of Pharmacy successfully organized a grand and action-packed Sports Meet 2025, bringing together the spirit of competition, teamwork, and youthful enthusiasm. The event featured an electrifying boys' Volleyball Championship, marked by powerful serves, exceptional blocks, sharp smashes, and brilliant coordination, keeping the audience captivated throughout. Adding to the excitement, the girls’ events, Kho-Kho and Freeze-and-Run radiated high energy and athletic brilliance, as participants showcased remarkable agility, swift reflexes, and unwavering team spirit. The lively atmosphere, loud cheers, and enthusiastic participation made the Sports Meet a truly memorable experience. Every athlete demonstrated admirable dedication, discipline, and sportsmanship, turning the two-day event into a vibrant celebration of fitness, unity, and the true spirit of sportsmanship at GGSCOP.

On the occasion of Children’s Day (14.11.2025), the Youth Red Cross (YRC) Club of Guru Gobind Singh College of Pharmacy spent a memorable and heart-warming day with children from nearby slum areas. Our volunteers interacted with the children, listened to their stories, shared smiles, and created a cheerful and joyful atmosphere. Children are the brightest hope of our nation, and nurturing their smiles is the greatest gift we can offer.
