Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a developmental disorder caused by differences in the brain. People with autism generally experience some degree of difficulty with social interaction and communication.

We are celebrating World Autism Awareness Month to Empower Autistic Voices.

Here is a list of foods that make great choices for kids and adults suffering from ASD.

Nuts & Seeds- Nuts and seeds are rich in Omega-3 and Omega-6 which help improve brain functions. Minerals like calcium, zinc, and magnesium in nuts help reduce stress and boost immunity.

Colored Fruits, Vegetables and Beans-
Are full of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and fermentable fibres which aid digestion, boost immunity and health, protect cells from oxidative damage, aid detoxification, and learning abilities.

Grass-Fed Animal Proteins & Fish- Fatty fishes such as mackerel, tuna, and salmon come brimming with DHA and EPA which may help improve brain functions and mood in children.
