✏️Intended Use:
The Mylab Discovery Solutions PathoDetectTM HBV quantitative PCR kit is an in vitro nucleic acid amplification test for the quantitation of hepatitis B virus (HBV) DNA in human plasma. This diagnostic test kit utilizes the real time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) after nucleic acid extraction.
The viral load is measured using a range of four quantification calibrators provided in the kit. The test is not intended to be used as a screening test for HBV and as a diagnostic test to confirm the presence of HBV infection.

📌Product description:
Mylab Discovery Solutions PathoDetectTM HBV quantitative PCR test is an in vitro diagnostic test, based on real time PCR technology, for the detection and quantification of HBV specific DNA encompassing all the major HBV genotypes A to G. The assay includes heterologous amplification system (Internal Control) to identify possible PCR inhibition and to confirm the specimen and reagent integrity. The test is based on real-time PCR technology, for the amplification of specific conserved target sequence of S gene and detection by target specific probe. The assay principle is based on Taqman technology which allows higher specificity and sensitivity. The kit contains the necessary reagents for performing HBV quantitation by Real-time PCR.
The test can quantitate HBV DNA over the range of 10 – 1 x 1,000,000,000IU/ml.
