Everything started in 1945 with an entrepreneur, Carlo Leopoldo Lualdi. His passion for movement saw him invent surgical instruments, later expanding into the aerospace and automotive industries.
He was among the first pioneers to introduce 3D printing machines in the production process of prosthesis implants. It was his vision which began our long tradition of partnering with surgeons, to design and produce market-leading patient solutions.
