Dr Alkadhimi qualified as a dentist from the prestigious Trinity College Dublin in 2014 obtaining his Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree with Honours. He was appointed as a house surgeon straight after graduating at the Dublin Dental University Hospital. He then gained his postgraduate dental fellowships from 2 Royal Colleges of surgeons in England and Ireland in 2015.
He then moved to the United Kingdom to embark on an 8-year journey to complete his higher specialty training. Dr Alkadhimi completed his dental core training in oral and maxillofacial surgery, working in Mid-Essex University Hospitals and Nottingham University Hospitals.
He went on to complete a three-year full-time specialist orthodontic training program in London at the world-renowned Eastman Dental Institute (University College London) and Buckinghamshire University Hospitals. During this period, he obtained a Master of Clinical Dentistry degree in Orthodontics from the University College London achieving a distinction for his research thesis and subsequently went on to complete his Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Dr Alkadhimi then went on to do his higher consultancy training at the world-renowned Royal London Hospital and East Kent University Hospitals. He successfully completed his Intercollegiate Specialty Fellowship Examination in 2022 and was awarded Fellowship of Dental Surgery.
He was appointed as a Consultant in Dublin recently and he maintains private practice commitments in a number of practices in Dublin and London.
Dr Alkadhimi is a clinical and academic supervisor at the Dublin Dental University Hospital. He is actively involved in clinical and academic teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Dr Alkadhimi is currently undertaking PhD studies at Trinity College Dublin.
He is an active researcher; he has keen interest in carrying out research and has published widely in peer reviewed journals. He has presented widely in national and international conferences and meetings. He is the sub-editor of the Journal of orthodontics.
He has particular interest in treating complex malocclusions including orthognathic (jaw) surgery and the use of skeletal/bone anchorage devices.

طبيبة أسنان ممارسة في مركز صحي الإسكان في المنصور.
انتقلت إلى السويد 2009 .
بدأت بالعمل كطبيبة أسنان 2016 والآن أعمل في مركز حكومي للأسنان في منطقة بجنوب ستوكهولم

طبيب عراقي — اختصاص طب الطوارئ FRCP(C) وزميل طب التخثر.

خريج كلية الطب – جامعة بغداد (2013).
وأكمل دبلوم البحث السريري التطبيقي في جامعة ماكماستر (2019–2021).

يُكمل حاليًا برنامج بورد طب الطوارئ في جامعة تورونتو، اجتاز امتحان النهائي للبورد الكندي
(جامعة تورونتو مصنّفة الأولى في كندا في الطب – بحسب تصنيف QS 2025)

كما يُكمل زمالة طب التخثر في جامعة ماكماستر، بالتزامن مع دراسة ماجستير المنهجية البحثية الصحية (HRM) في الجامعة نفسها.

الدكتور الهيمص مؤلف منشورات علمية مُحكّمة ومراجع في مجلات طبية، وعضو في PECAN – المجموعة الوطنية الكندية للانصمام الرئوي. كما أنه عضو في FIRST60 – مجموعة أبحاث علوم الرضوض والإنعاش في مستشفى سانت مايكل – جامعة تورونتو.

🔬 الاهتمام الأكاديمي والبحثي

يركّز عمله العلمي على نقطة التقاطع بين Trauma and Thrombosis، بما يشمل:
‏ • Tauma-induced coagulopathy (TIC)
• Blood products and fibrinogen replacement in trauma
• Pulmonary embolism and venous thromboembolism (VTE)

قدّم الدكتور الهيمص محاضرات دولية في أكثر من 7 دول، وحاز على جوائز أكاديمية وسريرية متعددة تقديرًا لتميّزه في البحث العلمي والتعليم ورعاية المرضى
