Our topic today: The belly, or belly fat
It is a collection of fat in the abdominal area, and belly fat is considered very harmful to health
Types of belly:
1- Tension belly: Fat accumulates in people who have a tension belly in the upper abdomen area directly under the ribs, and it may sag or sag from that area to the bottom, and it may also protrude when sitting.
2- Gradual belly: Fat accumulates in the graduated belly in the form of two layers, the first is in the upper abdomen area, and the other is near the navel.
3- Mother's belly: One of the common types of belly fat in women after pregnancy and childbirth, and usually appears in the form of sagging skin and fat below the waist line.
4- Abdominal bloating belly: It appears due to the accumulation of gases and fluids in the digestive tract.
5- Beer or wine belly: Beer or wine belly is caused by excessive consumption of alcoholic beverages, as alcohol increases the production of visceral fat that settles on the walls of the abdomen.
6- Muffin top belly: It is called muffin top belly because fat accumulates on the sides of the lower abdomen in a way that resembles the edges of the top of a muffin.
Causes of belly
The location of fat storage in the body depends on a number of factors, including genes, hormones, diet, exercise, stress, and psychological and physical pressure.
