عميد طب بابل يتفقد سير العمل في مشاريع الكلية العمرانية

أجرى السيد عميد كلية الطب بجامعة بابل، الأستاذ الدكتور مهند عباس الشلاه، جولة ميدانية تفقدية لمتابعة سير العمل في المشاريع العمرانية والتطويرية التي تشهدها الكلية حالياً.
رافقه خلال الجولة مدير قسم الإعمار والمشاريع في الجامعة، المدرس المساعد المهندس أمير جاسم الشمري، بالإضافة إلى الكادر الهندسي في الشعبة الهندسية التابعة للكلية.
شملت الجولة الأطلاع الميداني على مراحل الإنجاز في المواقع الإنشائية، حيث أكد السيد العميد على ضرورة الألتزام بالجدول الزمني و حث الكوادر المنفذة على تسريع وتيرة العمل لضمان تسليم المشاريع في أوقاتها المحددة.
والتأكيد على مراعاة الجودة العالية في التنفيذ وفقاً للمعايير الهندسية المطلوبة.
حيث تهدف هذه المشاريع إلى تحديث القاعات الدراسية والمختبرات العلمية بما يوفر بيئة أكاديمية مثالية للطلبة والتدريسيين.
من جانبه، قدم المهندس أمير جاسم الشمري شرحاً مفصلاً حول نسب الإنجاز المتحققة، مشيداً بالتعاون المستمر بين قسم الإعمار وعمادة الكلية لتذليل كافة العقبات الفنية واللوجستية التي قد تعترض سير العمل.
إن هذه الجولات الميدانية تأتي ضمن خطة الكلية الإستراتيجية لتطوير مرافقها ومنشآتها الحيوية، بما يواكب التطور العلمي والعمراني الذي تشهده جامعة بابل.
Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Babylon Inspects Progress of Ongoing Construction Projects

The Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Babylon, Prof. Mohend Abbass Al-Shalah, conducted a field inspection tour to follow up on the progress of the construction and development projects currently underway at the College.

During the tour, he was accompanied by the Director of the University’s Reconstruction and Projects Department, Assistant Lecturer Engineer Amir Jassim Al-Shammari, in addition to the engineering staff of the College’s Engineering Unit.

The tour included on-site review of the stages of work progress across several construction locations. The Dean emphasized the importance of adhering to the scheduled timelines and urged the implementing teams to accelerate the pace of work to ensure timely completion of the projects. He also stressed the necessity of maintaining high implementation quality in accordance with the required engineering standards.

These projects aim to modernize lecture halls and scientific laboratories in order to provide an ideal academic environment for both students and teaching staff.

For his part, Engineer Amir Jassim Al-Shammari presented a detailed explanation of the achieved completion rates, praising the continuous cooperation between the Reconstruction and Projects Department and the College Deanship in overcoming technical and logistical challenges that may affect workflow.

Such field visits come within the framework of the College’s strategic plan to develop its facilities and vital infrastructure, in line with the scientific and urban development witnessed by the University of Babylon.

فرع الكيمياء والكيمياء الحياتية في طب بابل يُجري الأمتحان الشامل لطالبة دكتوراه

برعاية عميد كلية الطب بجامعة بابل، الأستاذ الدكتور مهند عباس الشلاه، وبإشراف الأستاذ الدكتور طارق حسين مغير رئيس فرع الكيمياء والكيمياء الحياتية، أقام الفرع الأمتحان الشامل لطالبة الدكتوراه نور الهدى جليل محمد، تخصص الكيمياء الحياتية السريرية، وذلك ضمن متطلبات نيل شهادة الدكتوراه ووفقاً للضوابط العلمية والإدارية المعتمدة من وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي.

Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the College of Medicine, University of Babylon Conducts Comprehensive Examination for PhD Candidate

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine, University of Babylon, Prof. Mohend Abbass Al-Shalah, and under the supervision of Prof. Tariq Hussein Mughair, Head of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, the department conducted the comprehensive examination for the PhD candidate Noor Al-Huda Jalil Mohammed, specializing in Clinical Biochemistry, as part of the requirements for obtaining the PhD degree and in accordance with the scientific and administrative regulations approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The examination was supervised by:

• Asst. Prof. Nawras Jassim Al-Salhi

According to the administrative order issued by the College Deanship, the comprehensive examination committee was formed as follows:

فرع الجراحة في كلية الطب يجري الأمتحان العملي لطلبة المرحلة الرابعة

أجرى فرع الجراحة في كلية الطب بجامعة بابل، اليوم، الأمتحان العملي لمادة الجراحة لطلبة المرحلة الرابعة (الكورس الثاني)، وذلك ضمن متطلبات السنة الدراسية الحالية.
جرى الامتحان بإشراف مباشر من قبل الأستاذ الدكتور رافد الحسيني، أختصاصي جراحة المسالك البولية في فرع الجراحة.
حيث شهد الأمتحان حضوراً فاعلاً لتدريسيي الفرع، بالإضافة إلى نخبة من الأطباء الأختصاصيين من مستشفى الحلة التعليمي.
يهدف هذا الأمتحان إلى تقييم المهارات السريرية والعملية للطلبة، وقياس مدى أستيعابهم للمادة العلمية والقدرة على تطبيقها في الجانب السريري، بما يضمن إعداد جيل كفء من الأطباء القادرين على تقديم أفضل الخدمات الطبية مستقبلاً.

Department of Surgery at the College of Medicine Conducts Practical Examination for Fourth-Year Students

The Department of Surgery at the College of Medicine, University of Babylon, conducted today the practical examination in Surgery for fourth-year students (second course) as part of the requirements of the current academic year.

The examination was directly supervised by Prof. Rafed Al-Husseini, a specialist in Urological Surgery within the Department of Surgery. The examination also witnessed active participation from the department’s teaching staff, in addition to a distinguished group of specialist physicians from Al‑Hilla Teaching Hospital.

This examination aims to assess students’ clinical and practical skills, evaluate their understanding of the scientific material, and measure their ability to apply knowledge in clinical settings, thereby contributing to the preparation of a competent generation of physicians capable of delivering high-quality medical services in the future.

عمادة طب بابل تشرف على حملة تصريف مياه الأمطار وتنظيف أروقة الكلية

أشرف السيد عميد كلية الطب، الأستاذ الدكتور مهند عباس الشلاه، وبحضور المعاون العلمي الأستاذ المساعد الدكتور أشرف محمد علي حسين، ميدانياً على أعمال تصريف مياه الأمطار الغزيرة التي شهدتها الكلية بسبب موجة الأمطار في المحافظة.
تم العمل بالتنسيق المباشر من قبل مسؤول الشعبة الهندسية، المهندسة نادية شهاب حمد، مع دائرة ماء ومجاري بابل التي ساهمت في سرعة التصريف. وعقب ذلك، باشرت الكوادر الخدمية بحملة تنظيف شاملة للشوارع والأروقة، لتهيئة الكلية وإعادتها بكامل رونقها لأستئناف الدوام الرسمي في اليوم التالي.

لجنة ضمان جودة الأمتحانات في طب بابل تعقد أجتماعاً لمراجعة نتائج الكورس الأول

بتوجيه السيد عميد كلية الطب الأستاذ الدكتور مهند عباس الشلاه عقدت لجنة ضمان جودة الأمتحانات (QAAC) في كلية الطب بجامعة بابل اجتماعاً دورياً موسعاً، برئاسة الأستاذ الدكتور عادل حسن الهنداوي مدير وحدة التعليم الطبي، وذلك لمناقشة آليات تقييم الأداء الأمتحاني وتطويره.

تضمن الأجتماع مراجعة دقيقة للتقارير الواردة من الفروع العلمية كافة، والتي شملت:
* تحليل نتائج الأمتحانات النهائية للكورس الدراسي الأول.
* تثبيت ملاحظات اللجنة الفنية والأكاديمية حول طبيعة الأسئلة ونسب النجاح.
* تعزيز موثوقية الأمتحانات ورفع جودة التقييم بما يتماشى مع المعايير الرصينة.

خلص الأجتماع إلى تدوين مجموعة من التوصيات والمقترحات التطويرية، حيث تم رفع محضر الأجتماع إلى السيد عميد الكلية المحترم، تمهيداً لعرضه على مجلس الكلية لأتخاذ القرارات اللازمة التي تصب في مصلحة المسيرة التعليمية والطلبة.

تعتبر لجنة ضمان جودة الامتحانات (QAAC) إحدى الركائز الأساسية في وحدة التعليم الطبي بالكلية، حيث تعمل منذ تأسيسها على تحديث طرق وأساليب التقييم والأرتقاء بنظام الأمتحانات لضمان مخرجات تعليمية كفوءة.
Babylon College of Medicine’s Examination Quality Assurance Committee Holds a Meeting to Review First-Course Results

Under the direction of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Mohend Abbass Al-Shalah, the Examination Quality Assurance Committee (QAAC) at the College of Medicine, University of Babylon, held an expanded periodic meeting chaired by Professor Dr. Adel Hassan Al-Hindawi, Director of the Medical Education Unit, to discuss mechanisms for evaluating and improving examination performance.

The meeting included a thorough review of reports received from all scientific departments, which covered:
• Analysis of final examination results for the first course.
• Documentation of technical and academic committee observations regarding question design and pass rates.
• Enhancing the reliability of examinations and improving the quality of assessment in line with established academic standards.

The meeting concluded with the formulation of a set of recommendations and developmental proposals. The minutes were submitted to the respected Dean of the College in preparation for presentation to the College Council for necessary decisions that serve the educational process and students’ interests.

The Examination Quality Assurance Committee (QAAC) is considered one of the key pillars of the Medical Education Unit at the college. Since its establishment, it has been working on updating assessment methods and advancing the examination system to ensure competent educational outcomes.

برعاية عمادة كلية الطب..فرع الأدوية يقيم محاضرة علمية حول التداخلات الدوائية والغذائية

ضمن نشاطات وحدة التعليم المستمر، وتحقيقاً لأهداف التنمية المستدامة (الهدف الثالث: الصحة الجيدة والرفاه، والهدف الرابع: التعليم الجيد)، أقام فرع الأدوية في كلية الطب بجامعة بابل محاضرة علمية تخصصية بعنوان:
(التداخلات الدوائية - الدوائية والتداخلات الدوائية - الغذائية)

أقيمت المحاضرة في تمام الساعة العاشرة من صباح يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 17 آذار 2026، على أروقة مختبر فرع الأدوية. وقد شهدت المحاضرة حضوراً فاعلاً من قبل تدريسيي الكلية وطلبة الدراسات العليا.

تناوب على تقديم المادة العلمية نخبة من الأساتذة المختصين في الفرع، وهم كل من:

م.د. أحمد إبراهيم راشد

سلطت المحاضرة الضوء على أهمية فهم التأثيرات المتبادلة بين الأدوية المختلفة عند تناولها معاً، وكذلك تأثير الأنواع المختلفة من الأغذية على كفاءة وامتصاص الدواء داخل الجسم، وذلك لضمان تقديم أفضل رعاية صحية وتقليل الأعراض الجانبية الناتجة عن سوء الاستخدام أو التداخلات غير المحسوبة.
يأتي هذا النشاط ضمن السلسلة العلمية التي تنتهجها الكلية لرفع كفاءة الكوادر التدريسية وإغناء الحصيلة العلمية لطلبة الدراسات العليا بما يواكب آخر المستجدات في العلوم الطبية.

As part of the activities of the Continuing Medical Education Unit, and in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals—particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and Goal 4 (Quality Education)—the Department of Pharmacology at the College of Medicine, University of Babylon, organized a specialized scientific lecture entitled:

“Drug–Drug Interactions and Drug–Food Interactions”

The lecture was held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, in the laboratories of the Department of Pharmacology. It witnessed active participation from faculty members and postgraduate students.

The scientific content was delivered by a distinguished group of specialized lecturers from the department:

طب بابل تقيم ورشة علمية حول طرق التعليم السريري بين الواقعية والمثالية

برعاية وحضور السيد عميد كلية الطب-جامعة بابل الأستاذ الدكتور مهند عباس الشلاه والمعاون للشؤون العلمية الأستاذ المساعد الدكتور أشرف محمد علي حسين واستناداً إلى الصلاحيات المخولة وضمن نشاطات وحدة التعليم المستمر، أقام فرع طب الأطفال بالتعاون مع فرع الجراحة في كلية الطب بجامعة بابل، ورشة علمية تخصصية بعنوان (clinical teaching methods: realism and idealism)، وذلك يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 17 آذار 2026 على قاعة ابن البيطار.

تأتي هذه الورشة تجسيداً لالتزام الكلية بتحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة، لا سيما الهدف الثالث (الصحة الجيدة والرفاه)، والهدف الرابع (التعليم الجيد)، والهدف السابع عشر (عقد الشراكات)، بهدف تطوير المنظومة التعليمية السريرية ورفع كفاءة التدريب الميداني.

شهدت الورشة تقديم محاضرتين علميتين ركزتا على الجوانب التطبيقية والنظرية للتعليم الطبي:
•المحاضرة الأولى: قدمتها الأستاذ الدكتورة رحاب فيصل العابدي، وتناولت فيها (السياسة المعتمدة في فرع طب الأطفال للتدريب السريري لطلبة المرحلة السادسة)، مسلطةً الضوء على الآليات المتبعة لتأهيل طلبة الدورات النهائية.
•المحاضرة الثانية: قدمها الأستاذ الدكتور عادل حسن الهنداوي، واستعرض خلالها (طرق التعليم السريري القياسية - Standard clinical teaching methods) وأحدث المعايير العالمية في هذا المجال.

واختتمت الورشة بجلسة نقاشية مفتوحة أدارها كل من (أ.د. عادل حسن الهنداوي) و (أ.د. رحاب فيصل العابدي) ركزت على "تضييق الفجوة بين الواقعية والمثالية" في بيئة العمل السريري، حيث شهدت الجلسة مداخلات قيمة من الكوادر التدريسية المستهدفة، تهدف إلى وضع حلول عملية للتحديات التي تواجه التعليم الطبي الميداني.
من جانبه، أكد السيد عميد الكلية، الأستاذ الدكتور مهند عباس الشلاه، على دعم العمادة المستمر لهذه النشاطات التي تساهم في الأرتقاء بالمستوى العلمي والأكاديمي للكلية ومخرجاتها من الأطباء.

“Clinical Teaching Methods: Realism and Idealism”

The workshop was held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Ibn Al-Bitar Hall.

أجرى السيد عميد كلية الطب بجامعة بابل، الأستاذ الدكتور مهند عباس الشلاه، جولة تفقدية لمتابعة سير العمل في إنشاء المنصة المخصصة للطلبة الخريجين.

رافق السيد العميد في جولته مسؤولة الشعبة الهندسية في الكلية، المهندسة نادية شهاب حمد.
يأتي إنشاء المنصة ضمن خطة الكلية لتجهيز مرافق متكاملة تليق بحفلات تخرج الطلبة، وتوفير بيئة منظمة للأحتفاء بجهودهم العلمية.
اطلع الدكتور الشلاه على مراحل الإنجاز والمواصفات الفنية المتبعة، مؤكداً على ضرورة الألتزام بالمعايير الهندسية والجداول الزمنية ليكون المشروع جاهزاً في الوقت المحدد.
تأتي هذه الخطوة في إطار سعي عمادة الكلية المستمر لتطوير المنشآت الجامعية وتقديم أفضل الخدمات للطلبة، بما يعكس الوجه الحضاري لكلية الطب وجامعة بابل.

Professor Dr. Mohend Abbass Al-Shalah reviewed the stages of completion and the technical specifications being implemented, emphasizing the importance of adhering to engineering standards and timelines to ensure the project is completed on schedule.

بدء دورة تدريب طب الطوارئ للأطباء حديثي التخرج (الدور الثاني)

تعلن كلية الطب بجامعة بابل، بالتعاون مع دائرة صحة بابل/ قسم العمليات والخدمات الطبية الطارئة، عن إقامة الدورة التدريبية الأستثنائية الخاصة ببرامج طب الطوارئ للأطباء حديثي التخرج للعام الدراسي (2024-2025) من الناجحين في الدور الثاني.

خريجو كليات الطب من سكنة محافظة بابل الذين لم يلتحقوا بالدورات السابقة.
تبدأ الدورة من يوم الأحد الموافق 19 نيسان 2026 وتستمر لغاية يوم الخميس الموافق 23 نيسان 2026.

تأتي هذه الدورة ضمن الجهود المشتركة بين كلية الطب ودائرة الصحة لرفع كفاءة الكوادر الطبية الجديدة وتأهيلهم للعمل في أقسام الطوارئ، وضمان جهوزيتهم لتقديم الخدمات الطبية العاجلة.
