عميد طب بابل يتفقد مشروع القاعات الدراسية

تفقد الاستاذ الدكتور مهند عباس الشلاه عميد كلية الطب جامعة بابل اعمال اعادة تأهيل وترميم قاعة الدكتور فرحان باقر الدراسية بحضور المعاون الاداري الاستاذ الدكتور كاظم جواد الحمداني لغرض توسعتها لاستيعاب اكبر عدد من الطلبة نتيجة الاعداد المتزايدة المقبولين في طب بابل.
وخلال تفقده اشار الى ان اعادة تأهيل القاعات الدراسية جاءت لزيادة استيعاب الطلبة بتوسعة مساحة قاعة فرحان باقر والايعاز بإنجاز العمل خلال الفترة المحددة ووفق المواصفات المطلوبة ليتسنى استخدامها في بداية العام الدراسي.
وقد ابدى العميد بعض الملاحظات المهمة التي تركزت على رصانة البناء والتأكيد على تطبيق معايير السلامة والامان حفاظا" على سلامة طلبتنا الاعزاء وجمالية وشكل البناء الخارجي.
بعدها تفقد العميد عدد من المشاريع المنفذة في طب بابل للاطلاع على نسب الانجاز واضافة بعض المقترحات التي من شانها تطوير العمل والإسراع بتنفيذها.
Dean of the College of Medicine, University of Babylon, Inspects the Lecture Hall Project

Professor Dr. Muhannad Abbass Al-Shalah, Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Babylon, inspected the rehabilitation and renovation works of Dr. Farhan Baqir’s lecture hall, in the presence of Professor Dr. Kazem Jawad Al-Hamdani, the Administrative Assistant Dean. The purpose of the project is to expand the hall to accommodate the increasing number of students admitted to the College of Medicine.

During his inspection, the Dean noted that the rehabilitation of the lecture halls aims to increase student capacity by expanding the space of Dr. Farhan Baqir’s hall, and he directed that the work be completed within the specified timeframe and according to the required standards so that it can be ready for use at the beginning of the academic year.

The Dean also provided several important remarks focused on the structural integrity of the building and emphasized the application of safety and security standards to protect the students, while also ensuring the aesthetics and appearance of the external structure.

Afterward, the Dean toured a number of ongoing projects at the College of Medicine to review the progress of work and to add suggestions that would contribute to improving performance and expediting implementation

عميد طب بابل يستقبل نقيب الأكاديميين

استقبل الأستاذ الدكتور مهند عباس الشلاه عميد كلية الطب جامعة بابل في مكتبه، الاستاذ الدكتور مشتاق طالب الخفاجي نقيب الأكاديميين في بابل، وبحضور المعاون الاداري الاستاذ الدكتور كاظم جواد الحمداني.
وتم خلال اللقاء مناقشة تعزيز اطر التعاون بين طب بابل والنقابة وتقديم افضل الخدمات للتدريسين بما يضمن وضع الحلول المناسبة لمشاكل التدريسيين بشكل عام وتدريسي طب بابل بشكل خاص.
من جانبه اشاد نقيب الأكاديميين بالدور الكبير الذي تلعبه العمادة في تقديم الدعم والاسناد للنقابة وتعزيز التعاون المثمر بين طب بابل نقابة الأكاديميين.
Dean of the College of Medicine, University of Babylon, Receives the Head of the Academics Syndicate

Professor Dr. Muhannad Abbass Al-Shalah, Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Babylon, received in his office Professor Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Khafaji, Head of the Academics Syndicate in Babylon, in the presence of Professor Dr. Kazem Jawad Al-Hamdani, Administrative Assistant Dean.

During the meeting, discussions focused on strengthening frameworks of cooperation between the College of Medicine and the Syndicate, and on providing the best services for faculty members, ensuring appropriate solutions to the challenges faced by academics in general and those of the College of Medicine in particular.

For his part, the Head of the Academics Syndicate praised the significant role played by the College’s administration in supporting and assisting the Syndicate and in enhancing fruitful cooperation between the College of Medicine and the Academics Syndicate

عميد طب بابل يتفقد اروقة الكلية

تفقد الاستاذ الدكتور مهند عباس الشلاه عميد كلية الطب ميدانيا" اروقة وباحات وابنية الكلية بعد العطلة التي اعطاها مجلس المحافظة لمناسبة زيارة اربعينية الامام الحسين (ع).
حيث اطلع العميد على الخفراء في الباب الرئيسية والتزامهم بالواجبات المكلفين بها كذلك خفر الدفاع المدني والتأكيد على ضرورة متابعة الابنية والساحات.
مبينا" في الوقت نفسه التزام جميع الخفراء بالضوابط المهنية وحرصهم العالي على استتباب الامن والامان وعدم وجود اي مشاكل تذكر.

وزير التعليم العالي يمنح كتاب شكر وتقدير لتدريسي من طب بابل

منح معالي وزير التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي الدكتور نعيم العبودي كتاب ((شكر وتقدير)) للأستاذ الدكتور علاء هاني الجراخ التدريسي في كلية الطب جامعة بابل، فرع الاحياء المجهرية، وذلك لجهوده المتميزة في المشاركة في لجان يوم العلم العراقي لعام 2024.
ومن الجدير بالذكر ان الدكتور الجراخ هو عضو دائم في لجان يوم العلم العراقي ممثلا عن جامعة بابل منذ عام 2017.

His Excellency, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, has awarded a Letter of Appreciation to Professor Dr. Alaa Hani Al-CharraKh, faculty member at the College of Medicine, University of Babylon, Department of Microbiology, in recognition of his outstanding efforts and active participation in the committees of the Iraqi Science Day 2024.

It is noteworthy that Dr. Al-Charrakh has been a permanent member of the Iraqi Science Day committees, representing the University of Babylon since 2017.

طب بابل تقيم دورة علمية لتعليم الأقران

تطويراً لمفهوم تعليم الأقران "Peer Learning” والذي يتماشى مع أسس الاعتمادية التي حصلت عليها طب بابل عام 2024 من منظمة (WFME)، نظم الطالبان أحمد ضياء علي وحيدر مهند عباس دورة علمية بعنوان “History taking” تستهدف الطلبة الوافدين حديثاً للمرحلة الثالثة حضرها عميد الكلية الاستاذ الدكتور مهند عباس الشلاه وشارك فيها قرابة الثمانين طالب وطالبة وعلى مدى ثمانية أيام.
تهدف الدورة التي اقيمت بالتعاون مع خريجي طب بابل وبعض الطلبة الناجحين من المرحلة الثالثة الى تقديم المحاضرات النظرية داخل قاعات كلية الطب لنقل التجربة العملية داخل المستشفيات التعليمية ناقشوا فيها بصورة جماعية موضوعات عن مقدمة التأريخ المرضي الطبي والهيكلية الخاصة بالتأريخ المرضي الطبي وكيفية كتابته وأهمية المعلومات المسجلة وعلاقتها بالحالة المرضية وبعض الأسئلة العلمية الواجب سؤلاها للمريض داخل الردهة الطبية مع التطبيق المباشر واجراء إمتحانات يومية تهدف التذكير بالمصطلحات الطبية ومعانيها.
من جانبه اوعز عميد الكلية الدكتور الشلاه بتقديم كتاب شكر وتقدير لمنظمي الدورة احمد ضياء علي وحيدر مهند عباس وللخريجين الطبيبة مروة سعد والطبيب مصطفى مشتاق والطلبة المساهمين (أية أحمد حمزة، عبد لله ثامر علوان، مؤمل حيدر جبار, جواد عدنان جواد, قاسم حمزة عبد الصاحب, حيدر باسم محمد, حسين مشتاق طالب, علي رياض ناصر, ياسر مازن عبد الكاظم ,حسين حيدر محمد, فاطمة كاظم خليل, ديمة عدي جواد, نور الهدى تحسين علي وزهراء علي مجيد). تقديرا لجهودهم المبذولة بإنجاح هذه الدورة وتشجيعا منه على ضرورة الانخراط بهذه الفعاليات لأهميتها في ترصين العملية التعليمية.
In line with advancing the concept of Peer Learning, which aligns with the accreditation standards granted to Babylon College of Medicine in 2024 by the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME), students Ahmed Dhiaa Ali and Haider Muhannad Abbas organized a scientific course titled “History Taking.” The course targeted newly admitted third-year students and was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Muhannad Abbas Al-Shalah, with the participation of around eighty male and female students over a period of eight days.

The course, held in collaboration with graduates of Babylon College of Medicine and successful third-year students, aimed to deliver theoretical lectures within the college’s classrooms, transferring practical experiences from teaching hospitals. Through group discussions, participants explored topics such as an introduction to medical history taking, the structured format of history documentation, methods of writing clinical histories, the significance of recorded information in relation to patient conditions, and essential clinical questions to be asked during ward rounds. The course also included direct practical applications and daily quizzes designed to reinforce medical terminology and its meanings.

In recognition of their significant efforts in making this course a success and to encourage active involvement in such essential educational initiatives, the Dean of the College, Dr. Al-Shalah, directed that letters of appreciation be awarded to the course organizers (Ahmed Dhiaa and Haider Muhannad), graduates Dr. Marwa Saad and Dr. Mustafa Mushtaq, and the contributing students (Aya Ahmed Hamza, Abdullah Thamer Alwan, Mo’men Haider Jabbar, Jawad Adnan Jawad, Qasim Hamza Abdul Sahib, Haider Basim Mohammed, Hussein Mushtaq Talib, Ali Riyadh Nasser, Yasser Mazen Abdul Kadhim, Hussein Haider, Fatima Kazem Khalil, Dima Uday Jawad,Noor-Alhuda Tahseen Ali and Zahraa Ali Majeed), in acknowledgment of their dedicated efforts and contributions to the success of this course, highlighting the importance of engaging in such activities to strengthen

طب بابل تنظم وقفة حداد

وسط اجواء يملؤها الألم والحزن نظمت كلية الطب جامعة بابل وقفة حداد والوقوف دقيقة صمت في الذكرى السنوية للإبادة الجماعية للأيزيديين والمكونات العراقية الاخرى شارك فيها عميد الكلية الاستاذ الدكتور مهند عباس الشلاه وعدد من موظفي الكلية.
وتخلل وقفة الحداد بيوم المقابر الجماعية استذكار جرائم دكتاتورية نظام البعث البائد الذي خلف وراءه مئات المقابر الجماعية التي احتوت على رفات مئات الالوف من الابرياء الذين لا ذنب لهم سوى انهم رفضوا حكم الطاغية وحزبه. بعدها تم قراءة سورة الفاتحة ترحما على ارواح شهداء العراق وضحايا الابادة الجماعية والمغدورين من جميع الطوائف مبتهلين إلى العلي القدير أن يشمل الجميع بواسع رحمته ومغفرته ويلهم أهلهم وذويهم الصبر والسلوان.
College of Medicine, University of Babylon Organizes a Memorial Stand

Amid an atmosphere filled with sorrow and grief, the College of Medicine, University of Babylon, organized a memorial stand and observed a minute of silence on the anniversary of the genocide against the Yazidis and other Iraqi communities. The event was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Muhannad Abbas Al-Shalah, along with a number of the college staff.

The memorial, held on the Day of Mass Graves, included a remembrance of the crimes committed by the dictatorial Ba’ath regime, which left behind hundreds of mass graves containing the remains of hundreds of thousands of innocent victims whose only fault was their rejection of the tyrant and his party. The event concluded with the recitation of Al-Fatiha (the Opening Chapter of the Holy Quran) in memory of Iraq’s martyrs, the victims of genocide, and the wrongfully murdered from all sects, praying to Almighty God to grant them His vast mercy and forgiveness, and to bestow patience and solace upon their families and loved ones

لجنة الدفاع المدني تتفقد طب بابل

تفقدت اللجنة الفنية للدفاع المدني والسلامة المهنية برئاسة مدير قسم المتابعة الدكتور سامر حسام الشلاه ومدير قسم شؤون الديوان ومسؤول شعبة الدفاع المدني للاطلاع على منظومة اطفاء الحرائق في كلية الطب.
حيث كان في استقبالهم عميد الكلية الاستاذ الدكتور مهند عباس الشلاه الذي بين ان طب بابل انفردت بتنصيب اول منظومة لإطفاء الحرائق في جامعة بابل من حيث المواصفات وشملت كافة اروقة الكلية وبناياتها حيث تم تامين جميع البنايات والممرات بخراطيم ذات دفع ماء يتم من خلالها اطفاء الحرائق في حال حدوثها لا سامح الله وبزمن قياسي وتم اختبارها من قبل مسؤول الدفاع المدني في الكلية لتلافي اي مشكلة مستقبلا.
بعدها تفقدت اللجنة كافة بنايات الكلية وتم فحص مطافئ الحريق ومنظومات الاطفاء وفحص الهوز ريلات ومتابعة عمل منظومة الانذار التي هي قيد الانجاز حاليا" وذات مواصفات عالمية وبينت ان طب بابل ملتزمة بشروط السلامة المهنية ولديها خفارات دفاع مدني.
Civil Defense Committee Inspects the College of Medicine in Babylon

The Technical Committee for Civil Defense and Occupational Safety, headed by Dr. Samer Hussam Al-Shalah, Director of the Follow-up Department, along with the Director of the Administrative Affairs Department and the Head of the Civil Defense Unit, conducted an inspection of the fire extinguishing system at the College of Medicine.

They were received by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Muhannad Abbas Al-Shalah, who stated that the College of Medicine at the University of Babylon is distinguished for being the first to install a fire extinguishing system of this specification at the university. The system covers all college buildings and corridors, with high-pressure water hoses capable of extinguishing fires—God forbid—in record time. The system was tested by the College’s Civil Defense Officer to prevent any future issues.

The committee then inspected all college buildings, examined fire extinguishers and suppression systems, tested the hose reels, and reviewed the progress of the alarm system currently under installation, which adheres to international standards. The committee confirmed that the College of Medicine in Babylon complies with occupational safety regulations and maintains active civil defense shifts.

عميد طب بابل يتفقد مشروع انشاء القاعات الدراسية

تفقد عميد كلية الطب الاستاذ الدكتور مهند عباس الشلاه ميدانيا" اعمال مشروع القاعات الدراسية واعمال الترميم في قاعة الاستاذ الدكتور فرحان باقر والاطلاع على نسب الانجاز ومراحل العمل بحضور المعاون الاداري والمهندس المقيم.
وبين المهندس المقيم انه تم اكمال صب الاسس للبناية بالكامل بالإضافة الى صب الاعمدة الكونكريتية الخاصة بالمشروع واكمال الجدران الكونكريتية للقاعتين المدرجة وبيت المصعد.
واضاف انه تم اكمال صب المدرج بالكامل للقاعتين التي تسع لعدد 350 طالب لكل قاعة واكمال الاعمال للمرافق الصحية وصب الدرج وكذلك اكمال مرحلة صب الجسر الرابط بين الاعمدة الكونكريتية واكمال مرحلة حديد التسليح المرحلة الثانية من الاعمدة الخاصة الكونكريتية وان نسبة الانجاز هي 28%.
ومن الجدير بالذكر ان المشروع يشتمل على قاعات دراسية مدرجة عدد ٢، ومختبر مهارات عدد اثنان وثمانية عشر محطة OSCE.
بعدها تفقد العميد عدد من المشاريع المنفذة في طب بابل للاطلاع على نسب الانجاز واضافة بعض المقترحات التي من شانها تطوير العمل والإسراع بتنفيذها.
Dean of the College of Medicine in Babylon Inspects the Lecture Hall Construction Project

The Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Muhannad Abbas Al-Shalah, conducted a field inspection of the lecture hall construction project and the renovation works in Professor Dr. Farhan Baqir Hall, to review the progress and stages of the work, accompanied by the administrative assistant and the resident engineer.

The resident engineer stated that the foundation casting for the entire building has been completed, in addition to the casting of the concrete columns designated for the project, and the construction of the concrete walls for the two tiered lecture halls and the elevator shaft.

He added that the full casting of the seating tiers for both halls, each accommodating 350 students, has been completed. The sanitary facilities, staircase casting, and the bridging between the concrete columns have also been finalized, along with the second-stage reinforcement steel installation for the additional concrete columns. The current completion rate is 28%.

It is noteworthy that the project includes two tiered lecture halls, two clinical skills laboratories, and eighteen OSCE stations.

Afterward, the Dean toured several ongoing projects at the College of Medicine to assess progress and provide suggestions aimed at improving performance and accelerating implementation.

رسالة ماجستير في طب بابل حول النساء المصابات بالتهاب المهبل

ناقشت كلية الطب جامعة بابل فرع الاحياء المجهرية رسالة طالبة الماجستير عبير عماد طالب الموسومة (دراسة جزيئية لتسلسلات تصنيف المجموعات المصلية ST وO لبكتيريا الإشريكية القولونية المعزولة من النساء المصابات بالتهاب المهبل) بإشراف الاستاذ الدكتور محمد صبري عبد الرزاق والاستاذ الدكتورة ملال عبد الرضا محمد.
بينت الباحثة خلال دفاعها عن رسالتها ان هذه الدراسة أجريت على 150 مسحة مهبلية عالية الكثافة من مريضات يعانين من التهاب المهبل والتهاب بطانة الرحم، واللواتي راجعن استشاريات أمراض النساء والتوليد في مستشفى الولادة والأطفال في محافظة الحلة، خلال الفترة من أكتوبر 2024 إلى فبراير 2025. تم الحصول على تاريخ المريضات مباشرة من المصابات، حيث تراوحت أعمارهن بين أقل من 20 عامًا وأربعين عامًا، وجميعهن متزوجات وقد يكون لديهن طفل واحد أو أكثر.
أظهرت نتائج هذه الدراسة أن معظم المصابات بالتهاب المهبل كُنّ في الفئة العمرية من 31 إلى 40 عامًا بنسبة (60%)، تليها النساء في الفئة العمرية أقل من 20 عامًا بنسبة (28%)، ثم الفئة العمرية من 21 إلى 30 عامًا بنسبة (12%). ومن بين هؤلاء، كانت نسبة سكن المريضات في المناطق الريفية أعلى من نسبة سكنهن في المناطق الحضرية بنسبة (56%) و(44%) على التوالي. تحدث حالات الإجهاض لدى 46% من النساء، و54% من المريضات ليس لديهن تاريخ إجهاض. تم إدخال جميع عينات HVS للزراعة باستخدام الطرق التقليدية، وأظهرت النتائج أن 53 مسحة فقط أعطت نتائج إيجابية لبكتيريا الإشريكية القولونية، بينما لم تظهر أي نمو للبكتيريا الأخرى في المسحات الأخرى
تم التشخيص الجزيئي لهذه العزلات أيضًا باستخدام تقنية تفاعل البوليميراز المتسلسل (PCR) باستخدام بادئ خاص من الحمض النووي الريبوزي منقوص الأكسجين 16 والذي يستخدم خصيصًا للتعرف على عزلات الإشريكية القولونية، وقد لوحظ أن إجمالي 53 عزلة من الإشريكية القولونية، 50 عزلة فقط مرتبطة ارتباطًا دقيقًا بالإشريكية القولونية، وثلاث عزلات مرتبطة بتوابل أخرى. كما تم تحديد تأثير المضادات الحيوية على هذه العزلات باستخدام المضادات الحيوية بيتا لاكتام. أظهرت النتائج أن البكتيريا المعزولة حساسة للسيفتازيديم بنسبة (100%) وحساسة للسيفوتاكسيم (68%)، سيفوروكسيم (64%)، سيفترياكسون (56%) وسيفبودوكسيم (54%). تم إجراء تصنيف تسلسلي (ST) للعزلات الخمسين لتصنيف البكتيريا باستخدام العلامة الجزيئية وفقًا للعلامات ST 131 و ST69 و ST72 و ST95. تم اختيار تصنيف التسلسلات هذه كنوع شائع موزع بين عزلات الإشريكية القولونية التي تم الحصول عليها من النساء المصابات بالتهاب المسالك البولية والتهاب المهبل.

وقد لوحظ أن 40 عزلة من بكتيريا الإشريكية القولونية تم تصنيفها ضمن المجموعة ST 131، و41 عزلة ضمن المجموعة ST69، و19 عزلة ضمن المجموعة ST72، و11 عزلة ضمن المجموعة ST95، وأظهرت النتائج وجود تداخلات بين فئات ST بسبب تشابه التسلسلات بين العزلات ووجود هذه التسلسلات في عناصر كروموسومية إضافية مثل البلازميدات أو الترانسبوزونات. كما تم تصنيف العزلات البكتيرية حسب المجموعة المصلية لمستضد O- باستخدام بادئات محددة لتقنيات تفاعل البوليميراز المتسلسل للمجموعات المصلية O1،O2،O4،O6،O7.
أظهرت النتائج أن جميع العزلات أعطت نتائج سلبية للمجموعات المصلية O1، O4، O7، حيث أعطت 26 عزلة فقط (52%) نتائج إيجابية للمجموعة المصلية O2 و 42 عزلة (84%) أعطت نتائج إيجابية للمجموعة المصلية O6، وغياب المجموعات المصلية O1، O4 و O7 له قيمة بسبب وجود مثل هذه المجموعات المصلية في العزلات المتعمدة.
Master’s Thesis at the University of Babylon on Women with Vaginitis

The College of Medicine at the University of Babylon – Department of Microbiology – discussed the master’s thesis of student Abeer Imad Talib, titled:
“Molecular Study of Sequence Typing (ST) and Serogroup O Classification of Escherichia coli Isolates from Women with Vaginitis”,
under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohammed Sabri Abdul-Razzaq and Prof. Dr. Malal Abdul-Ridha Mohammed.

During her thesis defense, the researcher explained that the study was conducted on 150 high-density vaginal swabs taken from female patients suffering from vaginitis and endometritis, who attended the obstetrics and gynecology outpatient clinics at the Maternity and Children’s Hospital in Al-Hilla, between October 2024 and February 2025. The patients’ medical histories were obtained directly from the women, who were aged under 20 to 40 years, all of whom were married, and many had one or more children.

The study results showed that the majority of women with vaginitis were in the age group 31–40 years (60%), followed by those under 20 years (28%), and then those aged 21–30 years (12%). The proportion of patients living in rural areas was higher (56%) compared to those living in urban areas (44%). Abortion history was present in 46% of the women, while 54% had no history of abortion.

All high vaginal swabs (HVS) were cultured using traditional methods, and results showed that only 53 swabs yielded positive growth for Escherichia coli, while the remaining swabs showed no bacterial growth.

Molecular identification of these isolates was also performed using Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) with specific 16S rRNA primers designed for identifying Escherichia coli. It was found that out of the 53 E. coli isolates, 50 were closely related to E. coli, while three were related to other Enterobacteriaceae species.

The study also tested the antibiotic susceptibility of the isolates using beta-lactam antibiotics. Results showed that the bacteria were:
• 100% sensitive to ceftazidime
• 68% sensitive to cefotaxime
• 64% sensitive to cefuroxime
• 56% sensitive to ceftriaxone
• 54% sensitive to cefpodoxime

Sequence typing (ST) was performed for 50 isolates using molecular markers associated with ST131, ST69, ST72, and ST95, which are commonly distributed among E. coli strains isolated from women with urinary tract infections and vaginitis.

Findings revealed:
• 40 isolates belonged to ST131
• 41 isolates to ST69
• 19 isolates to ST72
• 11 isolates to ST95

The results indicated overlap between ST groups due to sequence similarity among isolates and the presence of these sequences in extrachromosomal elements such as plasmids or transposons.

The bacterial isolates were also serotyped for O-antigen groups using specific PCR primers for serogroups O1, O2, O4, O6, and O7.

Results showed that:
• All isolates tested negative for O1, O4, and O7
• 26 isolates (52%) tested positive for O2
• 42 isolates (84%) tested positive for O6

The absence of O1, O4, and O7 serogroups was significant due to their known presence in intentionally
introduced laboratory strains

طب بابل تعقد مجلس الكلية

برئاسة الاستاذ الدكتور مهند عباس الشلاه عميد كلية الطب والمعاون الاداري ورؤساء الفروع عقد مجلس الكلية, حيث رحب العميد بالحضور متمنيا لهم دوام التوفيق والنجاح في جميع الأعمال المكلفين بها.
وفي بداية المجلس وجه رئيس الجلسة وضمن توجيهات مجلس الجامعة الموقر الذي عقد برئاسة الاستاذ الدكتور امين عجيل الياسري على ضرورة التهيؤ الى التعليم الرقمي الذكي والتثقيف نحو العمل بموجبه في العام الدراسي القادم.
كذلك العمل للتدريب على الملفات المهمة لاسيما ملف ضمان الجودة وملف الاعتماد الاكاديمي وملف التصنيفات التي تساهم في رفع اسم طب بابل في التصنيفات المحلية والعالمية.
واخيرا" تمت مناقشة الأمور الأخرى المدرجة في جدول الأعمال والتي تخص الدراسات الأولية والعليا والجوانب العلمية والإدارية في الكلية.
College of Medicine – University of Babylon Holds Faculty Council Meeting

Under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Muhannad Abbas Al-Shallah, Dean of the College of Medicine, and in the presence of the Administrative Assistant and Heads of Departments, the Faculty Council was convened. The Dean welcomed the attendees and wished them continued success in all their assigned responsibilities.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Chair conveyed the directives of the respected University Council, presided over by Prof. Dr. Ameen Ajeel Al-Yasiri, emphasizing the need to prepare for smart digital education and to promote awareness and readiness for its implementation in the upcoming academic year.

The council also addressed the importance of training on key portfolios, particularly:
• Quality assurance
• Academic accreditation
• University rankings,
which contribute to enhancing the reputation of the College of Medicine – Babylon in both local and international classifications.

Finally, the council discussed other matters listed on the agenda related to undergraduate and postgraduate studies, as well as scientific and administrative aspects of the college
