تأسست جامعة تكساس إيه آند إم في سان أنطونيو عام ٢٠٠٩، وتخدم أكثر من ٧٠٠٠ طالب، وتقدم ٣٧ برنامجًا جامعيًا و١٩ برنامجًا للدراسات العليا. تضمن خدمات دعم ذوي الإعاقة في الجامعة إمكانية الوصول والتسهيلات للطلاب ذوي الإعاقة، باستخدام بوابة إدارة المعلومات المتاحة (AIM) لإدارة التسهيلات الأكاديمية. برنامج TU CASA هو برنامج يُقدم للطلاب ذوي الإعاقات الذهنية تجربة دراسية ما بعد الثانوية لمدة ١٨ شهرًا، مع التركيز على المهارات الأكاديمية والمهنية ومهارات الحياة المستقلة. يُفضي البرنامج إلى الحصول على شهادة الخبرة الجامعية والمهنية (UCEC)، ويهدف إلى تحسين نتائج الطلاب البالغين من خلال الشراكات المجتمعية. Texas A&M University-San Antonio, established in 2009, serves over 7,000 students and offers 37 undergraduate and 19 graduate programs. The university’s Disability Support Services ensures access and accommodations for students with disabilities, utilizing the Accessible Information Management (AIM) Portal for managing academic accommodations. TU CASA is a program offering students with intellectual disabilities an 18-month postsecondary experience, focusing on academic, career, and independent living skills. The program leads to a University and Career Experience Certificate (UCEC) and aims to improve adult outcomes through community partnerships.
