Last week, the Youth Empowerment Department hosted a football tournament between 12 teams of displaced people in Khanke camp at Grace Community Center. The youth played football wonderfully, and it was a great day for all of us. Everyone got a certificate from the Department of Healing Wounds of Trauma and the football basics course.

استضافت قسم تمكين الشباب بطولة كرة القدم بين 12 فريقًا من النازحين في مخيم خانكي بمركز النعمة الاجتماعي .كان هناك
حماس وحب كبير. لعب الشباب كرة القدم بشكل رائع ، وكان يومًا سعيدًا لنا جميعًا. فاز الفريق المخلص بالمركز الأول ورفع الكأس مع الفريق الخاسر كذلك. حصل الجميع على شهادة من قسم الشفاء من إصابات الجروح ودورة أساسيات كرة القدم.

At GCC, women come for handicraft classes where they learn to crochet beautiful bags and other products. After finishing the class, some of the women continue to work at our Hope for Tomorrow center. في مركز النعمة الاجتماعي، تأتي الشابات والسيدات لصف الأشغال اليدوية حيث يتعلمن فنون الكروشيه وإنتاج حقائب اليد ومنتجات لطيفة أخرى. بعد الانتهاء من التدريب ، تواصل بعض الخريجات العمل في مركز "أمل للغد". ومنتجاتهن بالكامل مصنوعة يدوياً! لو لديك حساب إنستجرام، تابع أخبار المركز ومنتجاته على .for.tomorr.w لدعم عملهن.

Mother to mother health education and women empowerment is being taught every day in the IDP camp by the GCC health team. Childcare is available while the mothers are participating in the program. We are so thankful for our team that runs this program and cares for the children!

يقدم فريق الصحة وتمكين المرأة بمركز النعمة الاجتماعي دروس الصحة العامة من أم لأم كل يوم مصحوبا بأنشطة تمكين المرأة في مخيم النازحين في خانكي. كما يتم إتاحة خدمة رعاية الأطفال في الوقت الذي تشارك فيه المرأة في البرنامج. ونشكر فريقنا الذي يقود هذا البرنامج ويعتني بالأطفال.

It has been so challenging to pick highlights for each week, because our photographers are all so talented and diverse. We wanted to post a portfolio of some of the work that has been done over the last month! This collection has pictures from many of our students: Jalila, Daniella, Saadia, Yassir, Ghazi and Najah!

لقد كان تحدياً صعباً أن أختار الأعمال الفنية التي أسلط عليها الضوء كل أسبوع من الأعمال المتنوعة للفنانين الموهوبين خريجي تدريب التصوير الفوتوغرافي. وقد أردنا أن نعرض لكم اليوم حافظة تضم بعض الأعمال التي تم التقاطها خلال هذا الشهر لطلابنا: جليلة، دانييلا، سعدية، ياسر، غازي، ونجاح!

Our students graduated this past week, and it has been so much fun not only taking pictures but going to the lake, making jokes and playing basketball with this group. In looking through the pictures and creating a portfolio for each student, I have really been wowed by the work our students have done. They truly have an eye for photography - so creative, unique and inspired. We wanted to highlight Hatem again this week to show you some of the great work he has done this month.

لقد تخرّج طلابنا في صف التصوير الفوتوغرافي هذا الأسبوع، ، وقد كان ممتعاً للغاية أن نذهب معاً للبحيرة لالتقاط الصور الفوتوغرافية في الطبيعة الخلابة لمدينة خانكي، وكذلك إلقاء النكات الطريفة ولعب كرة السلة معاً في هذه المجموعة التدريبية. وقد أبهرني عمل الطلاب الخريجين من صف التصوير الفوتوغرافي حين قمت بفرزها لعمل حافظة لكل متدرب ، إذ لديهم الحماس والنظرة الفنية الخلاقة بحق. ونود هذا الأسبوع أن نسلط الضوء على أعمال "حاتم" مرة أخرى لنعرض لكم بعضاً من أعماله المبدعة هذا الشهر.

GCC was quite alive this afternoon as we hosted our own version of the World Cup. The boys played some great football, and it was an exciting day for all of us!

امتلأ مركز النعمة الاجتماعي بالحماس والفرح عصر اليوم إذ قام الفريق بعمل نسخة مصغرة من كأس العالم . ولعب الشباب كرة القدم بشكل رائع، وكان يوما سعيدا لنا جميعا.

This week, the assignment was to choose any color and take a group of pictures that featured that color. In class, we talked about how in utilizing the principle of color schemes, we can bring together otherwise unrelated pictures. Shaher did a great job of taking a harmonious group of pictures following this lesson of color, highlighting bright oranges and yellows!

كانت مهمة المتدربين على التصوير الفوتوغرافي خلال هذا الأسبوع أن يختاروا لوناً معيناً ويلتقطوا صوراً بها هذا اللون. وتحدثنا في الصف عن كيفية استخدام مبدأ تدرجات الألوان ، بحيث يمكننا أن نجمع معاً صور مختلفة لا يمكن الجمع بينها بأي شكل آخر.
وقد قام شاهر بعمل عظيم في الجمع بين مجموعة من الصور المتناغمة لونياً بعد درس الألوان ، بالتركيز على اللونين البرتقالي والأصفر

This week, we took the photography class on a field trip to Khanke Lake. The water was extremely low, but we enjoyed the nice weather and got to see some locals in action. Our two photographers to highlight this week are Hatem and Neawsat. These boys have so much enthusiasm for taking pictures and bring a really creative lens wherever they go. Enjoy these pictures of our sweet community!

خلال هذا الأسبوع، خرجنا مع صف التصوير الفوتوغرافي في رحلة ميدانية إلى بحيرة خانكي للتطبيق العملي على ما تعلمناه معاً . وبرغم أن منسوي الماء في البحيرة كان قليلاً ، إلا أننا استمتعنا بالطقس الجيد وسعدنا برؤية المواطنين أثناء عملهم بالقرب من البحيرة. وفي هذا الأسبوع، نود أن أن نضع اثنين من طلابنا الأعزاء داخل دائرة الضوء وهما حاتم ونوزاد. ولدى هذين الشابين حماس رائع لالتقاط الصور وإضفاء رؤية جمالية مبدعة أينما ذهبوا. استمتعوا بهذا الصور لمجتمعنا المحبوب!

We have loved getting to see our center and the beauty around us through the eyes of our photography students. Each week this month, we will select one of our students to feature as our photographer of the week! This week, we are highlighting our student Wadha. She took these two beautiful pictures, because she loves roses. Wadha prefers to take natural pictures and has an eye for finding beauty in the small things around her.

فرحنا بمشاهدة مركزنا والجمال المحيط بنا بعيون طلابنا في برنامج التصوير الفوتوغرافي. سنعرض كل أسبوع خلال هذا الشهر أعمال أحد طلابنا ، تحت عنوان "مصوِّر الأسبوع"!
نقدم لكم هذا الأسبوع مجموعة من صور الطالبة "وضحة". التقطت "وضحة" هاتين الصورتين الجميلتين لأنها تحب الزهور.
تُفضِّل "وضحة" أخذ صور طبيعية ، ولديها حس فني لتقدير الجمال في الأمور الصغيرة حولها.

Always with a welcoming smile and sweet huddle, Zeary invites every group of children into GCC to partake in a full hour of exercise and football. Opening with an encouraging word and personal check-in, Zeary provides not only strong competition but also friendship and genuine accountability for all her players.

تستقبل زيري دائما مجموعة طلابها الرانعين بابتسامة مرجبة، وتدعو كل مجموعة ليشتر كوا لمدة ساعة كاملة من التمرين و لعب الكرة. تفتتح زيري وقت اللعب بكلمة تشجيع و تطمئن علي الطلاب مع مساعدتهم علي تحديد مشاعر هم في بداية وقت الصف، و هي تقذم الطلاب صف الرياضة البدنية مزيجا يبئي المنافسة القوية، والمساءلة.
