Fibrillary Glomerulonephritis (FGN) is a rare kidney disease characterized by the deposition of fibrils (fine protein fibers) in the glomeruli, which are the filtering units of the kidney. These fibrils are non-amyloid (they do not stain with Congo red, unlike amyloidosis) and typically measure 16–24 nanometers in diameter.
