على الرغم من التقدم الكبير الذي أحرزناه في التعرف على الأشخاص ذوي التوحّد وكيفية التعامل معهم وخاصةً الأطفال منهم، إلا أن الطريق أمامنا لا يزال طويلاً. إن كل فرد توحّدي، طفلاً كان أو بالغاً، يستحق أن يحظى بحياةٍ طبيعيةٍ يكون فيها منتجاً ومندمجاً في المجتمع. وفي اليوم العالمي للتوعية بالتوحّد، دعونا نتعرف على قدرات الأشخاص ذوي التوحّد وندعمهم في تلبية احتياجاتهم ومتطلباتهم.
Although we have taken great strides in recognizing, diagnosing and treating autistic people, particularly children, there is still a long way to go. Every child and every adult living with autism deserves to live a fulfilling life and to contribute their best to our society. This World Autism Day, let us celebrate the abilities of those with autism and provide them with all the support they need.
