Successful Myval TAVI at Comprehensive Interventional Center - CIC
Patient Case Summary:
A 74-year-old female with diabetes, hypertension, and ischemic heart disease was diagnosed with severe aortic stenosis. Due to her high-risk profile, she was referred for transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI).
Intervention:
Under the care of Dr. Shawkat Miro, TAVI was performed via the left femoral artery using advanced imaging. A Myval 26mm transcatheter heart valve from Meril was deployed with rapid pacing for optimal positioning. Final angiography confirmed excellent valve function with no paravalvular leak and a single-digit gradient. The procedure was completed without complications.
Outcome:
The patient recovered well and was discharged in stable condition.

Expert Vascular Care: Successful Bilateral Peripheral Angioplasty Comprehensive Interventional Center - CIC

Patient Case Summary:

An 80-year-old female with a known history of diabetes mellitus presented to the with bilateral lower limb pain, with greater discomfort on the right side. CT angiography revealed diffuse atherosclerosis and stenotic lesions in both lower limbs, consistent with peripheral arterial disease (PAD).

Intervention:

Bilateral peripheral angioplasty with ballooning and stenting was performed by Dr. Ismail Raoof, effectively targeting the areas of arterial narrowing. Using Promesa BMS stent and MOZEC PTA balloon from Meril

Outcome:

The procedure was successfully completed without complications. The patient remained stable postoperatively and was discharged the same day in good condition, with follow-up planned.

Advancing Limb Salvage: Successful Peripheral Angioplasty at Comprehensive Interventional Center - CIC
Date: 23 May 2025

Patient Case Summary:
A 73-year-old male with a known history of diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and renal impairment presented to the Comprehensive Interventional Center (CIC) with one month of right lower limb pain and gangrene at the right heel.

Intervention:
Peripheral angioplasty using CO₂-guided balloon angioplasty and stenting was performed by Dr. Rabea Al-Sofi and Dr. Omer Hammodat, targeting the affected vessels of the right lower limb. Using Promesa™ BMS stent and MOZEC™ balloon from Meril

Outcome:
The procedure was completed successfully without complications. Postoperatively, peripheral pulses became palpable and the limb was warmer with no pain. The patient remained stable and was discharged the following day on home-based treatment.

Case of the Day!

A 56 Years old female is suffering from Type B Aortic dissection with aortic dilatation almost with the same level of the LSA
A fenestrated TEVAR was performed by implanting two Ankura-TAA Stent grafts followed by “In-Situ” fenestration technique using the innovative device from Lifetech “The Futhrough Endovascular Needle System”

The case was done successfully & professionally by Dr.Shawkat Miro without any complications and the patient was discharged in a very well condition

67 Years old male patient who’s suffering from Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm came to CIC.

The EVAR treatment was performed successfully by using the (Ankura AAA Stent Graft - LifeTech Scientific).
The implanted sizes was as follows/ Mainbody AAA is (AAA2812B120), contralateral Cuff Limb is (1416C100) and ipsilateral Cuff Limbs is (1416C0890).

The Procedure was performed successfully with no complications and the patient was stable and discharged next day from the hospital (CIC)
The case was performed successfully by Dr. Chalak AbdulSamad and CIC team
