Welcome to our unique & secluded home. We have 6 large ensuite rooms for our guests. The house is surrounded by wonderful serene and extreme nature for all kinds of outdoor activities. There is a hot tub in the garden, a perfect place to be all year & for 8 months you can see the Northern Lights from there when they are active. We are located above Hveragerði, a small friendly town 40 km from Reykjavík. Axelshus is our lovely home that has a very nice and comforting atmosphere. Perfect get-away from the busy and stressful life of the big cities. Your home away from home in Iceland. Natural holistic treatments available, Reiki, vibrational essences and aromatherapy products. Icelandic horseback riding farms close by bookable from our site as well as car rentals and other tours and activities. Bus to and from Reykjavik runs every 2 hours.
