Spring in Traditional Chinese Medicine belongs to the Wood Element 🌱 And the Liver is the organ that governs this energy.
The Liver ensures the smooth flow of Qi and Blood, helping us move through life with clarity, vision, and emotional balance.
But in modern life, stress, pressure, and suppressed emotions often create Liver Qi stagnation.
This can show up as:
• irritability or frustration
• tension in the body
• stiffness in joints or tendons
• restless legs or spasms
• feeling stuck or unmotivated
Spring invites us to reconnect with the natural rhythm of movement, growth, and renewal.
Just like trees bend with the wind, our bodies also need flow and flexibility to stay balanced.
If your body feels tight, stuck, or overwhelmed, bodywork can help restore that flow and bring more ease into the body.
✨ You can book a bodywork session with me through the link below:
I would be truly grateful for every little heart you click for me there — it helps make my work more visible to those who may not have discovered it yet.
This season invites us to turn inward. It's a time for reflection, release, and making space for what’s yet to come. In the cycle of the Five Elements, Metal teaches us about clarity, letting go, and finding beauty in simplicity.
That being said, I found myself in a reflective mood yesterday when old photos appeared on my wall. I felt myself traveling back in time. They were taken six years ago in an anatomy classroom in Sanur, Bali. Around that time, I had just graduated from Balinese massage school. Those weeks of learning gave me a truly holistic approach to bodywork - combining deep touch with acupressure, gentle stretches, fascia rolling, and other techniques. Since then, I’ve taken so many different trainings and studied with many teachers who have deeply influenced my path, that sometimes I forget just how much that first experience shaped the way I work with the body today. Looking back, I feel deeply grateful for that time, for the skills I gained, and for the transformation I’ve gone through ever since. I cherish these gentle reminders of what has passed, and I honor those memories and teachings while consistently creating space for my own authentic approach to healing.
What are you reflecting on today?
What part of your life is ready for something new?
What lessons are you grateful for?
Happy New Moon 🌕🍂

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, autumn belongs to the Metal Phase, linked to the Lungs (yin) and Large Intestine (yang).
Metal is about clarity, reflection, and letting go. Just as the trees release their leaves, this season invites us to release what no longer serves us - old habits, heavy emotions, or patterns that keep us stuck.
When the Lungs and Large Intestine are in balance, we can breathe deeply, grieve gently, and create space for fresh beginnings. We feel lighter, clearer, and more open to change.
But when they’re out of balance, we may hold on too tightly, become overly critical of ourselves, or sink into lingering grief.
To support yourself during this season, try:
☯️ Eating warming, nourishing foods like soups, root vegetables, and buckwheat.
☯️ Adding aromatic spices such as cinnamon, ginger, or cloves.
☯️ Drinking soothing pear kompot to moisten and nourish the Lungs.
☯️ Creating moments of stillness for reflection and gentle letting go.
☯️ Practicing deep, expansive breathwork to nourish the Lungs.
☯️ Moving with awareness in twists and forward folds to support the Large Intestine.
Stay tuned for more guidance, inspiration, and simple practices to help you move through autumn with balance and ease

Dear Friends,
After walking through a darker and challenging chapter, I’ve finally found myself back in my beloved Iceland. I’ve made a cozy home in Akureyri and I’m now looking for a nurturing space where I can continue offering my holistic bodywork sessions.
If you happen to know of a place that feels like it could be a good fit, I would be so grateful for your help 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

It’s late summer - but in Iceland, where I live, the seasons blur into each other. The sky shifts, the light changes, but the transitions are subtle and easy to miss. It can make it tricky to tune into the rhythms described in the ancient medicine I follow, yet I still find joy in spotting the small signs that a new season is quietly arriving.
I’m connecting with the Earth Element on every level I know and love: spending time in nature, picking berries, watching waterfalls, clouds, and sunsets. I connect through meditation, movement practice, and by tuning in to my body. I care for my digestive organs, my middle Jiao, Spleen, and Stomach.
Let the seasons inspire you and become your guide to well-being.

We're at the pick of the season of golden light, ripe fruit, and warm breezes that remind us to be present and playful.
Now is the moment to enjoy the rewards of what we've nurtured all year—whether it's relationships, dreams, or simple daily joys.
Let this be your permission to:
Slip to your heart ♥️
Laugh a little louder
Indulge in what delights you
Watch the sky turn orange without rushing
Dance barefoot
Say yes to adventures
Connect deeply—with yourself and with others.
This season, let your joy be loud. Let your love be generous. And most importantly, let yourself feel it all. 🌞

I believe there is an art to the practice of massage therapy. The art that needs to be protected through the continued use of empathy. My aim is to help others, and I want to do it by using the art of massage.
I'm a Certified Massage Therapist and an independent practitioner. My approach is holistic with the goal of healing the pain. To experience my massage is to experience my deep passion and natural empathy.
Holistic Massage treats the body as one, focusing not only on the physical but also the emotional and mental well-being of the receiver. During the session, I combine rhythmical, long strokes, deep tissue massage, compression, acupressure, fascial work, and other techniques depending on your needs. This kind of massage allows the body’s natural healing abilities, helps to eleviate muscle tension, reduce stress and pain, improve circulation, and much more.
I've learned the art of massage from different places in the world, therefore in my massage sessions, I combine various techniques that come from the classic, deep tissue and Eastern style of massage. Currently, I’m doing a degree level qualification in Clinical and Sports Massage in Brighton, UK.
I treat my clients individually, offering tailored, holistic therapy. Whether you seek the way to relieve your muscle tension and pain, or you're looking for deep relaxation I will always try to find the right tools to help you.
I provide 60, 75, and 90 minutes sessions in my massage studio nearby Reykjavik.
