NÚNA Collective Wellness Studio Barre er blanda af pilates, jóga og styrktaræfingum gerðar á dýnu og við ballet stöng. Hvað er Barre? Enginn tími er eins og við vinnum með hin ýmsu tól og tæki.

Barre tímarnir eru 50 mínutur að lengd og er grunnur þeirra margþættur. Unnið er með bæði pilates og jóga undirstöður en einnig er stuðst við rétta stöðu líkamans út frá hreyfifræði. Við stillum upp beinum fyrst til þess að vöðvarnir geti stutt við líkama okkar og þannig styrkst í bestu stöðu. Undirstaðan okkar í gegnum fætur og hendur er mikilvægur þáttur í að setja líkamann í réttar stöður og áh

erslan á að finna slökun í líkama á móti styrk í vöðvum er mikilvæg sem og öndunin okkar. Öndunin kemur okkur í gegnum erfiðar æfingar, hjálpar okkur að gera stórar hreyfingar og tengir okkur við hið innra sjálf. Við höldum liðum mjúkum og sem kennari er það mitt starf að hjálpa ykkur að komast í dýpstu stöður út frá ykkar líkama. Við erum öll öðruvísi og þurfum að geta nálgast okkar líkama og hreyfingu á persónulegan hátt. Byrjað er á góðri upphitun þar sem áherlsa er lögð á þá vöðva sem unnið er með í tímanum. Við kveikjum á miðjunni (magavöðvunum) í byrjun tíma því þeir eru uppistaðan okkar og þeir hjálpa okkur við að styrkja útlimi líkamans. Unnið er með létt lóð til að styrkja axlir, tví- og þríhöfða áður en farið er svo í aðalæfingar tímans við barrestöngina. Þar styrkjum við læri, rass og höldum að sjálfsögðu áfram að styrkja kviðinn. Við teygjum svo á þeim vöðvum sem unnið er með í tíma og endum með góðri slökun. t.d. lóð, diska, teygjur og bolta til að auka á fjölbreytileika tímanna og hjálpa til við að tengja betur við vöðva í mismunandi stöðum. Með því erum við alltaf að finna nýjar leiðir til að læra inn á líkama okkar og finna hvað gengur best fyrir okkur. Skemmtilegir tímar í góðum hópi sem skila góðum árangri!

Next month we’ll escape the everyday and gather at Casa Fuzetta, a beautiful retreat space in the heart of Olhão, Portugal — for a few days of slowing down, reconnecting, and restoring💫

Meals will be part of the rhythm of our days together.
Our chef, Alena, approaches cooking through the lens of Ayurveda, creating meals that are creative, balanced, and deeply nourishing.

The menu will be built around seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, prepared in ways that support the body, calm the mind, and bring natural vitality to every dish.

We can’t wait to gather around the table for Alena’s nourishing meals!

A two-hour teachers table with Camilla, moving slowly through the body with gentle movement, ball release, and supported rest.

We begin with a soft flow to wake up the body and prepare the tissues, before moving into targeted release for the feet, hips, back, and jaw.
With body weight, slow breathing, and time in each position, we allow tension to soften and the body to unwind.

We close with supported rest so the body can integrate and settle. This is a space to release tension and give the body room to soften.

You’ll leave feeling lighter, calmer, and more at home in your body.

March carries momentum💫

We begin with conversation around sleep, hormones and stress, and continue into a women’s health fundraiser where Helga speaks on strength that supports life beyond the studio.

In Luxembourg, our newest instructors complete their final weekend of training while we also step into our role as NASM/AFAA approved continuing education providers.

You’ll meet a new teacher in the rotation, experience two hours of focused Roll work, and notice trainees assisting on the floor as part of their certification process.

We’ll pause briefly over Easter before moving into spring.

All classes and events are open for booking through the schedule.

We look forward to seeing you!
