A memory surfaced today—a photograph from six years ago, captured in the shaman’s garden where I lived during my first transformative journey to Calca, Cusco. Looking at that image now, I’m transported back to those profound days when I first encountered the great spirit of huachuma, known to many as San Pedro, and embarked on a journey that would fundamentally reshape my understanding of love, purpose, and what it means to live authentically.
