Train because you want to, not because you have to.

People who struggle to stay consistent have the mindset that they need to workout and eat healthy to get some result.

People who are successful with fitness simply do it for fun.

If you’re struggling with consistency, try adopting this mindset and see how easy it really is.

Find experienced people who can guide you.⁣

Victor and I have been training together since the beginning of COVID and we both teach other a lot.⁣

He shows me new exercises, form nuances and nutritional strategies.⁣

I teach him how to build an online coaching business.⁣

You should seek a mentor to guide you on your journey, and you should look to give value back to the people who help you.⁣

The best part is that when you have this symbiotic relationship, you develop great friendships along the way.⁣

Victor and I both have online coaching programs.⁣

If you’re looking to learn about bodybuilding and competing, you should reach out to him.⁣

If you’re looking to learn about lifestyle fitness, you should reach out to me.⁣

𝐌𝐲 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐅𝐢𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫 (𝐌𝐲 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐇𝐢𝐦) 🤝⁣

When I was 18 I worked at the day care center and front desk at Gold’s Gym in Santa Barbara. I was a scrawny kid, weighing 140 pounds and struggling to see results.⁣

(Side note, the only way I was able to have long term success is because I didn’t care about results as much as I cared about lifting because it’s fun)⁣

There was a trainer there, Austin. He was in his mid 20s, had a great physique, good looking guy, friendly with all the members…⁣

I really looked up to him and wanted to be like him in the next few years.⁣

We first met when he did my welcome workout (as most gyms offer to new members), and he was always willing to give me his time to answer questions and give advice. ⁣

He taught me about the importance of nutrition and recovery, helped improve my form, but most importantly, he invested himself in my growth and that gave me inspiration.⁣

Austin might not even know, but he had a huge impact on my trajectory at that time. It was the first experience I had with a mentor in fitness, and I realized that the fastest way to level up is to have someone who’s further along help you.⁣

Today, Austin is my assistant coach in the Fit4Life System. My clients love him, he’s awesome to work with and he’s a big reason why our clients get great results.⁣

Since getting to know Austin in the early days, I’ve sought mentors constantly. I’ve trained with guys who have won Mr. USA, Olympia competitors and elite fitness models, all to learn from them.⁣

Every time I train with someone like that, I learn something that elevates my own training and improves my skills as a coach.⁣

A mentor is hands down the BEST way to level up quickly and efficiently. Experience will always trump Google.
