When I started practicing meditation regularly, at the time to help my body heal faster before the next frisbee competition, I quickly got to experience states of awareness I had no idea were possible.

And I don’t talk about full power divine consciousness, but about just feeling really present and relaxed in my body and feeling a powerful flow of energy in it. I was so skeptical about all this and really not into spirituality or any kind of alternative healing at the time, but experiencing this by myself changed my view of the world for ever.

And that’s not even something that is super hard to achieve!
Most people can feel it in only a few sessions of yoga nidra or breathwork.

If you’re curious about this, check out our free online course in which you’ll be guided through 10 different short practices.

In 2021, I organized courses together with my mother .pragersechaud combining breathwork with theory and practices around trauma. At this time, I had not yet linked these 2 worlds, even though I since realized that they were since the beginning of contemporary breathwork 😅
This was the starting point of learning more and more about trauma as I saw how much this awareness made a HUGE difference in people’s processes!

If you’ve only done breathwork without specific trauma awareness (like most pranayama or shamanic breathwork), you can try
- our free online course to start anytime on your own
- our 2 retreats coming up in Goa

I used to think breathwork was all about the high. The release. The big moment.
But that mindset almost disconnected me from myself.

Here’s what I wish someone told me earlier.

When you chase intensity, you skip the most important part of healing. You bypass integration. You push your system faster than it feels safe to go. And for people with trauma, that can lead to overwhelm, freeze, or even retraumatization.

Breathwork attracts a lot of us who want the “big experience.” I was exactly like that. But the more I pushed, the more I missed the real medicine of the practice. The subtleties. The slow openings. The quiet moments where the nervous system actually trusts you enough to let something soften.

Healing requires a progressive approach. A relationship with the inner child. A willingness to go slow, stay present, and meet yourself with gentleness.
Because when the inner child feels met, not forced, they finally open the door.
And that’s where the real transformation happens.

If you want to explore this kind of healing through trauma-informed breathwork, self-resourcing, and nervous system regulation, we’ve got
- a free online course to start anytime on your own

This is something I don’t often talk about publicly…

I used to be a complete atheist* (like most people in France) and believe only in science (which BTW is also full of bias and not objectively true), but exploring spiritual practices like yoga, breathwork, meditation & plant medicines myself completely shifted that.

After living in India for more than 6 years and discovering a land where the relationship between the people and spirituality is completely different from where I come from, I realized that I now do believe in a form of God, which I like to call Oneness.
And I feel that the root cause of all suffering is the disconnection from this unity, which is our reality even though we rarely are grounded in this awareness.

If you ask me what has been the most powerful on my healing journey, I’d really struggle to pinpoint only 1 practice…

Because almost from the start, I explored many modalities and combined them. Over the years I’ve explored:
- hatha, vinyasa, ta**ra, kundalini, therapeutic & yin yoga
- Qi Qong
- dance
- fascia maneuvers
- pranayama, Wim Hof, shamanic, rebirthing, 9D, and conscious connected breathwork
- Ayurvedic, Thai, ta**ra, therapeutic massages and other bodywork
- Vipassana, classical ta***ic & neo-ta***ic, NLP, quantum and channeled meditations
- EMDR & trauma therapy
- soul cleansing
- many natural medicines
- and definitely much more that I’m forgetting!

It’s strong from this experience and collaborations with other dedicated facilitators that we’ve come to design the program of our retreats, which combines not only practices that were powerful for us, but that are also considered by contemporary science as the most transformative available.
