You may have seen the recent press release from the Italian Constitutional Court regarding the "Tajani Law" restrictions on Jure Sanguinis. While the headlines might seem discouraging, the full story is much more nuanced.

The Court’s decision was labeled as "partially unfounded and partially inadmissible". However, this does not mean the door is closed!
The Turin case that had brought the discussion in the court room had only addressed a smaller potion of the specific constitutional issues in the current shape of the law, which all in all make it a poor "test case" for the rest of us.

For the sake of everyone’s convenience, we have herewith recapped the three key items at stake that experts in the Italian judicial system alongside with our team have evaluated as standing hurdles.

💫 Gather with our thriving community today to bid farewell and officially wrap up on the holiday season as Epiphany day kicks in- or rather known as the Befana Day in Italy! 🇮🇹🧙‍♀️

The name Befana is indeed a linguistic variation of Epiphany stemming from the transformation of the word Epifania into Biphany and later Befania. The origin of this character is deeply intertwined with ancient traditions even dating back to ancient Rome!

🍬 🍭 On the night of January 5th, children hang their stockings, hoping to find them filled with treats. While some might associate the Befana with witches, she is more of a kindly, albeit slightly grumpy, grandmother figure. She doesn’t fly on a broom to cast spells but instead to spread joy and sweets to well-behaved children!
