💫 Gather with our thriving community today to bid farewell and officially wrap up on the holiday season as Epiphany day kicks in- or rather known as the Befana Day in Italy! 🇮🇹🧙‍♀️

The name Befana is indeed a linguistic variation of Epiphany stemming from the transformation of the word Epifania into Biphany and later Befania. The origin of this character is deeply intertwined with ancient traditions even dating back to ancient Rome!

🍬 🍭 On the night of January 5th, children hang their stockings, hoping to find them filled with treats. While some might associate the Befana with witches, she is more of a kindly, albeit slightly grumpy, grandmother figure. She doesn’t fly on a broom to cast spells but instead to spread joy and sweets to well-behaved children!

Let the good vibes in and for that today may be one to reflect about the legacy in the family we all bring together in our genealogy discoveries! Buona Befana everyone!

🗓️ We finally have a date. On March 11, the Constitutional Court will review the validity of the current Italian citizenship legislation!

✍️ While we are optimistic that most if not all of the current restrictions will be overturned, we are advising all our clients to file their court cases immediately rather than waiting for the verdict.

💭 Everyone is asking: "Should I wait for the ruling?"
Our answer: ABSOLUTELY NOT! ❌
👉🏻 If the law is overturned, it will trigger a "Gold Rush”, for real. The Government will likely try to patch the law again quickly, creating a very small window of opportunity.

🤔 The problem? Court hearings take on average 1+ years to schedule.
💪🏻 The solution? Be in the system before the ruling drops so your case is already active and maturing in the system, positioning you perfectly to take advantage of the ruling

😵 If you wait until March, you’re likely to be stuck in a massive backlog while the window closes
