🌍 Chronic Pain: A Global Health Challenge 🌍
Chronic pain is a significant global health challenge, profoundly impacting quality of life and incurring high socioeconomic costs. Addressing this complex condition requires an integrated, personalized approach, guided by recent scientific evidence.
📈 Pain management is continuously evolving, with advances in neurophysiological understanding, novel pharmacological and interventional therapies, and cutting-edge technologies.
The 2nd ALGOS Congress, “Pain Therapy: New Frontiers and Perspectives,” endorsed by European Pain Federation EFIC and scheduled for 🗓️ December 13-14, 2024, in 📍 Bologna, offers a unique platform for high-level training and updates. This event will gather leading experts to discuss the latest scientific evidence and effective therapeutic strategies.
📋 Program Highlights:
Sessions on chronic pain pathophysiology 🧠, neuromodulation, neuroablation, and ultrasound-guided techniques 🔬.
Updates on regenerative medicine 🌿, therapeutic cannabis 🌱, and complementary non-pharmacological therapies, including transcendental meditation 🧘♂️.
🤝 The event fosters discussion, networking, and a multidisciplinary, patient-centered approach to pain management. Open to researchers under 40, this year’s congress also includes a financial award for the best abstract, with the opportunity to present their work during the meeting. 📜 All accepted abstracts will be published, and authors may be considered for future speaking roles at ALGOS.
🎯 Main Learning Objectives:
-Deepen understanding of chronic pain mechanisms, focusing on sensitization processes.
-Gain practical skills in innovative diagnostic and therapeutic techniques.
