: Make it viral! COVID-19 global pandemic has drastically changed everyone’s daily routine and we apologize if you haven’t heard from us for a while. We hope you and your family are in good health. In the last period, we have maximized our R&D efforts and we are really excited to disclose today the release of our first publication on MDPI about technology, the new analytical balance for lab weighing of biological samples. Of note, this breakthrough system paves the way for the physical characterization of 3D biological samples, and foremost the 3D spheroids. Read the paper here:

The 3D multicellular spheroids offer an exciting model to investigate in vivo-like functionality where cells are grown in physiologically relevant conditions compared to monolayer 2D cell culture. Nevertheless, its wide applications are currently limited due to lack of reliable, reproducible and automated methods. The Sphericalplate 5D® is an integrated solution in CELLviewer workflow, delivering homogeneous and size-controlled spheroid populations, that tightly fit with downstream CELLviewer analysis. These two technologies, combined together, represent streamlined and automated 3D cell culture method with enhanced test reproducibility and reliability.

Il microambiente tumorale gioca un ruolo essenziale nella patogenesi e progressione del cancro. In questa App Note, abbiamo ricreato in vitro un modello 3D delle interazioni tra tumore e microambiente tumorale, coltivando sferoidi di cellule di cancro al polmone assieme ai fibroblasti umani. Abbiamo poi analizzato questi sferoidi eterotipici con CELLviewer, per capire come le diverse popolazioni cellulari si riarrangiano in 3D.

✔️ CellDynamics si è classificata al primo posto nella graduatoria del bando Incoming Program della Regione Romagna! 👑

L’Incoming Program ha lo scopo di far incontrare a Bologna 10 investitori provenienti dalla Silicon Valley (California, USA) con un massimo di 30 imprese regionali I beneficiari incontreranno degli investitori statunitensi a Bologna e presenteranno loro la propria impresa e il proprio prodotto.

L’Incoming Program avrà la durata indicativa di quattro giorni: due di attività preparatorie in vista del matching con gli investitori e due di presentazioni e incontri con investitori giunti in Emilia-Romagna dalla Silicon Valley. Al termine dell’Incoming Program e per i mesi successivi, le imprese beneficiarie verranno supportate nelle attività di follow-up.
