I’ll hold a dead bug any day for her.

Because as moms we know this isn’t just a dead bug or another stick or stone found, it’s their way of grasping all the magic this world has to offer and then sharing it with their loved ones and then learning validation from their caretakers that what they care about really matters.

So yes, I will bring this dead bug home, explain the cycle of metamorphosis and let her decide how and when to bury it.

Because I am raising magic.

Moms can handle carrying all the toys, snacks, schedules and tiny hands all at the same time.

But what they don’t have enough support of is for her to herself as a mom, in this current system. Tired, exhausted, running on coffee, and still have to think if there is enough money in the bank account for that extra ice cream run

So of course moms are looking for extra ways to be supported.

Here was mine:

- work less than 2 hours/day
- still receive a scalable income
- work when I want and where I want
- have the possibility to retire soon

Awareness is always the first key.

When you know how the brain works, you can usually outsmart it by doing the opposite like

1) Anxiety - go outside. Change your environment. Listen to someone else’s story

2) Write down if there’s any more you can do, if not, give attention to it for 3 minutes and say “I’ll get back to you when an answer comes”

3) Move the body or rest. Usually it’s those two that is in lack

There’s many more tips (obviously) but 3 is usually what the brain can retain in 30 seconds🤭

Who made up these numbers?!

An AVERAGE of TWO years for a woman to emotionally, physically, mentally recover from not only giving birth but waking up every other hour to feed the next generation.

Stop saying “at least I get 11 months”. 🛑
You deserve 2 years of financial support and hands on with the house work so you can actually recover that pelvic floor.

Good morning Yogis

Same times for yoga on Wednesdays
6:45 am for Meditation and Pranayama followed by 7:00 - 8:00 yoga asanas
or
18:15 for Pranayama and Meditation followed by 18:30 yoga asanas

We will have our FINAL yoga class together on 31st of March. I will be starting a new job position at a new company so the next 3-6 months will be dedicated to learning the new tricks of the trade! I wont be available to teach yoga again until I learn the new routine and see how my new schedule will be. With saying this, it is always and has been a pleasure to guide you in your practices and I hope you all have learned a little bit more about how incredible you truly are through the divine play of yoga. As well as how the body functions as a whole and move as a whole to avoid risks of injuries with the idea of creating mobility in the major joints and stability in the supporting joints. Summer Yoga on the Talfer may still be again in the near future but I can't confirm as of yet.

I hope to see everyone for the last three classes of this month! Let me know if you have any questions

This yoga found me at 25, trying to emotionally put myself together after an abusive, alcohol and anti-depressant induced on and off relationship. I followed a crowd walking up stairs at The Camp in Costa Mesa not knowing I was going inside a yoga studio.
