The Maio family has been active in the restaurant business since 1976. Their first hotel restaurant “La Bettola” was opened in Carisio, located between Biella and Vercelli in Italy. It is still very popular today representing the Piedmont region cuisines, with an excellence of combining tradition and innovation. The Maio Group was later founded by the Maio brothers’ named Alessandro and Massimo to

expand the family business even further. Their entrepreneurial passion, the love for the profession, the commitment, the pragmatism and the respect for their employees made them obtain a great success that is evident not only in their excellent reputation but also in the ever-increasing number of customers and turnover.
