An important message from Birmingham:
Dear all,
It is with a very heavy heart that I regret to inform you that we have taken the decision to postpone the Biennial Baroque conference. It will come as no surprise that the global situation at the moment, as well as our own position here in the UK, means that it is impossible to plan for such a large event when we simply don’t know what the coming months will bring.
We are instead proposing to move the conference to July 2021. We are in the process of working out the logistics and unfortunately are not yet in a position to confirm dates, but hope to be able to do so very soon. Naturally there will be the opportunity for you to revise your abstract, as well as to submit a new one should you wish: we’ll confirm the details in due course. For the moment, though, I’d like to thank you very much for your patience and wish you all the very best (and the best of health) in these difficult times.
Take care,
Carrie (on behalf of the Biennial Baroque Programme Committee)
