This document shows the will of John Bickford (c1625-1685) who is the first son of old John. Many people have old John’s death date as 1685 but as you can see, it is his son who died in that year. This data is an important correction to many online genealogies. Please check your Ancestry genealogy and your records so that you have the correct dates assigned to your line. I will continue to post correction here. His siblings are shown in the chart with other identifying data to give you a visual of the extended family.

Hello Everyone, this is the cover for Vol 33 No 1 which is at the printer now. We begin with celebrating us - descendants of old John Bickford (1603/04-1676/77) of Rattery, Devon, England who settled in the Oyster River area of the New Hampshire colony probably in the 1620s or shortly thereafter, about 400 years ago. With new DNA results from Juanita's Bickford DNA Project, we are now able to tentatively place Matthew Bickford's family in a known lineage. This is good news as it clears up a long-standing mystery. Please take a look. A genealogy of his family will appear in a future issue.

Hello everyone, this is the cover for Volume 32, No. 3 & 4 which is at the printer now. These combined issues have 12 pages of updated lines and DNA Project successes. Several articles and DNA test results re-align families and are corrections to the book, "350 Years of Bickfords in New Hampshire," so they are very important. Thanks for staying with us.
