The Annual Meeting Invest in Tuscany and the closing Forum of Community Toscana (4th edition) will take place on Tuesday, March 24th at Palazzo Guadagni Strozzi Sacrati, Florence.

This phygital event will bring together institutional leaders, international investors, and business executives to discuss the priorities shaping Tuscany's economic future — from global investment trends and geopolitics to regional competitiveness and industrial strategy.

Tuscany has welcomed over 1,000 foreign-owned companies in the last 30 years — and we’re just getting started, as stated by Filippo Giabbani, Head of International Affairs and Investment Attraction at Tuscany Region.
50% of them operate in manufacturing. A strength we’re building on, not just celebrating.
That’s why we launched a call for proposals in R&D: a pilot project that started with €10M and grew to €14M, financing innovative projects that will shape the future of our region.

Today, at the inaugural fDi Investment Impact Awards 2026 ceremony, Tuscany took the stage at the Hôtel Barrière Le Majestic, Cannes.
Filippo Giabbani, Executive Director of the International Affairs & Inward Investment Department, officially collected the awards — during MIPIM 2026 — for two projects that show what high-impact investment looks like in practice:

- Eli Lilly – Sesto Fiorentino | 1st place, Operational Mid-Sized Projects
A legacy of 60+ years in Tuscany, now expanding with €750M in new investment focused on biotech therapies for diabetes and obesity.
- Metinvest Adria – Piombino | 5th place, Announced Mega Projects
€2.3 billion to transform a traditional steel area into a green, digital and high-tech industrial hub.

From AI to robotics, from circular economy to advanced sensors for railway and nuclear safety, Tuscany is shaping the future.
Regione Toscana unveiled the results of its investment attraction call through EU funds (FESR 2021–2027), bringing international innovation straight to Tuscan soil.
Eight projects are already delivering results: FENICE, CyberTank, IDROCAT, RE-CARBON, PrediRail, CARES, ECO-VALUES and AI-LABS.
